Paying their federal income taxes on time seems to have been mission impossible for Paula Patton and her husband Robin Thicke.

The couple was slammed by the IRS with a tax lien filed against their Los Angeles mansion on December 28, reports The Detroit News.

The Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol star and her singer spouse owe a stunning $492,583, the feds say.

“They were just made aware of the issue and it is being taken care of immediately,” her rep told The Detroit News.

Run-D.M.C. founder and words-of-wisdom tweeter Rev Run (real name Joseph Simmons) has two daughters that owe the IRS and state of California more than $450,000!

Angela Simmons, 24, and Vanessa Simmons, 28, both starred with their famous father on the hit MTV reality series Run's House, but according to documents filed in both California and New York, they've run into some trouble with their taxes.

In March the state of California filed a $44,253 tax lien against Vanessa and a $39,538 tax lien against Angela, our friends at Tax Watchdog in Detroit report.

By May, the IRS filed another $159,714 against Angela and just seven months later, $180,315 against Vanessa in New York City.

And in December the IRS topped off Angela's tab with a $26,658 tax lien.

Janice Dickinson is in hot water with the IRS again!

The agency has filed another tax lien against the acerbic model. The reality show star already had over $250,000 worth of liens filed against her for unpaid taxed over the past two years.

Now The Detroit News reports that the latest amount due is $43,191 shown on documents dated November 30.

The controversial motormouth recently sparked controversy when she alleged that America’s Next Top Model was “definitely rigged” and claimed rather than the judges choosing the winners it was actually Cover Girl execs.

All in all, not the best way to start the new year.

Val Kilmer had paid his debt to society, so to speak.

After selling his massive New Mexico ranch, he's made good to the tax man and had two liens released.

On November 15, the IRS released a $498,115 tax lien it filed against him in 2010, reports The Detroit News. Two weeks earlier, the state of California released a $67,934 tax lien it had filed against him.

RadarOnline.com reported on the tax dilemma earlier this year.

Kilmer had been trying to sell his 5,328-acre ranch since 2009 when he listed it for $33 million.

According to The New Mexican, he sold all but 144 acres to a Texas oil executive and his wife for $18.5 million cash in September.

Kilmer could possibly have another big pay day coming. Tom Cruise revealed on Friday that he's in talks to do a sequel to his 1986 blockbuster, Top Gun, which costarred Kilmer.

His marriage only lasted a month, he's just been indicted for a massive gambling debt, and now RadarOnline.com has uncovered a six figure tax lien against Joe Francis' company, Mantra Films.

Mantra is the parent company for Francis' Girls Gone Wild empire, and on November 29, the IRS filed a tax lien against it in the amount of $113,128.

The lien is against unpaid taxes from 2003.

Francis was indicted by the state of Nevada on Feb. 2 on two felony theft charges in connection with the $2 million he owes the Wynn Casino.  The casino had previously won a $2.5 million civil judgment against Joe, but he's only coughed up $500,000, so now it's a criminal case.

According to a report in the Detroit News, the IRS filed a $63,487 tax lien against Campbell on July 28 with the New York Registrar’s office. The address on the tax lien is the famed Carnegie Hall Tower skyscraper in New York City owned by the model. According to the lien, she owes taxes assessed in 2009.

The lien was reportedly filed just days before Campbell testified at the war crimes trial of Liberian ex-president Charles Taylor. The model testified that she received "dirty-looking stones" after a dinner she attended with Taylor in September 1997 but said she was unsure if the stones were "blood diamonds."
