R&B star Usher is back on the singles market. His divorce from Tameka Raymond was finalized on Wednesday.

Despite having filed for divorce in June, RadarOnline.com had exclusively learned that the singer was the one who was delaying the process. As of early October he had not put his final signatures on the paper.
Usher claimed the two had been separated since July 2008 and had been living apart since then.

Has R & B superstar Usher hatched a plot to garner publicity for his new album? That’s the claim a source close to his ex is making and the evidence seems to be tipping in her favor.
The baby-faced singer called cops to his Atlanta home claiming that his estranged wife Tameka Foster had scratched one of his cars. But when the police arrived they could not find Foster on the property and they found no evidence to back-up his claim.
Usher had previously called the police a few days earlier claiming that Foster would not leave his Atlanta property but when they arrived, once again, she was nowhere to be seen.

A source close to the pair revealed, “This is all about publicity with his new album being re-named Raymond Versus Raymond and his single Papers being released too. The truth is Usher’s camp is trying to stoke things-up with the public but at the moment it is back-firing big time.”
RadarOnline.com understands that the performer – who is still holding-off on signing the final papers in his to divorce to Raymond – was furious when she wrote a scathing piece for the Global Grind website.

In the article Raymond – a former celebrity stylist – dissected the current music business in a not-so veiled attack on Usher and his camp.
The source reveals: “It’s actually a smart piece and really seemed to get under both his and his team’s skin as it got a lot of pick-up.”

A publicist for Raymond said: “This is all ridiculous Tameka has not been charged with anything and it was her vehicle that got scratched – why would she do that?
“They are trying to make her out like a crazy stalker when actually it’s Usher and his camp that are doing all the harassing.”

The pair got married in August 2007 and have two sons together Naviyd, 10 months and Usher Raymond V. Usher filed for divorce back in June and has been linked with Def Jam music executive Grace Miguel.
His new album Raymond versus Raymond will be released on December 8, 2009, the first single from the album Papers about their messy divorce was released last week.

On Monday, R & B superstar Usher released his new single Papers about his messy divorce from estranged wife Tameka Raymond, but RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that the singer is the one holding up the process by not signing off on the divorce papers.
EXCLUSIVE: Court Confirms No Divorce Yet
A source close to the couple claims the singer has delayed inking the final signatures on papers that he filed at Atlanta's Superior Court. "Tameka thinks that it's ironic that Papers is his comeback single when she just wants him to sign the paperwork and finalize the divorce," the source told RadarOnline.com. "The terms and conditions have been agreed on for around a month but he keeps stalling on them and she's the one that wants to move on with her life."

R&B star Usher's estranged wife Tameka Raymond believes the superstar's camp has been purposely smearing her during the couple's bitter divorce battle. A source close to the couple spoke to RadarOnline.com exclusively about the behind-the-scenes turmoil including the truth about the DNA test rumors and how Tameka continues to wear her wedding ring.
“[Tameka] is spitting mad against the campaign that has been waged against her just before Usher filed for divorce in Atlanta," the source said. “He could have had the papers sealed but chose not to and stories were being leaked about the divorce two days before the papers were actually filed at Atlanta’s Superior Court."
The source also pointed out some inaccuracies in the information that has been put forth about the couple's split and relationship.
“Claims that they had been separated for around one year are just not true - they only split up around March of 2009,” the source revealed. According to other reports, Usher had requested DNA tests to see if he is the biological father of their 6-month old son Naviyd.
“Neither Usher or Tameka are seeking such tests as they both know that Naviyd is their son and despite everything that has happened she is still wearing his wedding ring," the source added.
The couple got married in August 2007 and have another son Usher Raymond V.
While Tameka doesn't hold ill will against her husband and "is not trying to prevent him from seeing her sons", she feels that "she is up against a media machine in this divorce and is being portrayed badly by her estranged husband’s advisors."
The source also pointed out that Tameka was legally separated from her husband before she began dating Usher and was never operated on in Brazil since she had an allergic reaction to the anesthesia. The source also denied that Tameka ever suffered from a heart attack.
