Tiger Woods is calling it quits with his longtime caddie.
The golfer, 35, said on his website Wednesday that he'll no longer be working with Steve Williams, his New Zealand-born, right-hand man on the links for the past 12 years.

When Tiger Woods withdrew from the U.S. Open golf tournament, he said he was suffering from a "mild" left knee sprain and a "mild" left Achilles tendon sprain. From the look of the legendary golfer in our photo, "mild" is painful and serious.
Woods was spotted outside his Orlando, Florida office on Friday, just days after he'd withdrawn from the prestigious tournament.

Tiger Woods' caddie Steve Williams said he was not privy to the golfer’s multiple affairs, but was disappointed in him because of it, and RadarOnline.com has the clip for you.
"I knew nothing and that's my answer," Steve Williams told New Zealand's TV3. "I knew nothing, don't need to clarify it, extend my answer, I knew nothing."
Williams said that while he doesn't feel personally slighted by the golfer's extramarital affairs, he is "disappointed that he's let his family down. I mean, I'm close with his wife and he's got two lovely children and he's let them down, I not mad at him towards me.

Steve Williams has been Tiger Woods' right-hand man on the golf course since 1999 and he can't wait for the day when they're back on the greens together. But in a new interview, Williams isn't putting a time table on it.

"There are some things more important than golf," Williams told New Zealand's Sunday News. The New Zealand native added that Tiger is going through the "healing process. When he plays is when he plays."

During his public statement Friday, Tiger admitted to cheating on his wife and said he'd be returning to his in-patient therapy. As RadarOnline.com was the first to report, Woods had been at a behavioral clinic in Mississippi for treatment as a sex addict.
Williams wants Tiger to take as much time as he needs to address his "problem," and when they do get back to work, he says he "won't do anything differently. I won't view him any differently."

Tiger Woods has a problem, his caddie says in a new interview but adds that he had no inkling of the golfer’s extra-marital activities. Steve Williams told the Sunday News in New Zealand:"Obviously, I understand Tiger has got a problem. And we [Woods and Williams] discussed that."

Williams, who lives in New Zealand, did not specify when he and Woods discussed “the problem” but it appears they have been in touch since the scandal unfolded.

The caddie gave a lengthy interview after Rick Reilly wrote in ESPN the Magazine that Tiger should clean house and ditch Williams and others after the scandal. "What people fail to realize is I [just] work for Tiger Woods," Williams said in the interview, where he attacked Reilly’s call for his job.

"I live in New Zealand, I travel to and from New Zealand to caddie for Tiger Woods. I am not with him 24/7. Whilst I am a very good friend of his... I don't know what he does off the course. Some nights we go to dinner. His indiscretions have probably been [when he wasn't playing].
"When he is not competing, I am back in New Zealand. I have no knowledge of what he is doing. “
