The countdown has commenced to the release of the hotly anticipated Tim Burton Disney flick Alice in Wonderland.

To whet the appetite of eager Alice fans Disney released more stills Thursday, and if they're any indication of what's to come Alice In Wonderland is going to be a mega-smash hit.
From all the sneak peeks we've been given so far the 3D movie looks like it's going to live up to every bit of the hype that's surrounding it's March 5th release - and more.

Visually stunning with trippy, surreal special effects, lavish sets and gloriously over the top make-up and costumes, Alice is set to be a visually stunning feast, even topping visionary director Tim Burton's past cinematic master pieces.

Starring Burton's close buddy and muse, Johnny Depp as well as Burton's oft leading lady and wife, Helena Bonham-Carter, Alice boasts a star studded cast including Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen, Anne Hathaway and British funnyman Stephen Fry.

And the CGI effects look beyond amazing, showcasing a door mouse with an ever-so-slightly pathological glint in his eyes, a dandified white rabbit and a smiling, larger than life Cheshire cat.

Disney released a new photo Wednesday of Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter in the much anticipated children’s classic Alice In Wonderland.
The movie, shot in 3D is described as an “epic fantasy adventure” and stars Johnny Depp alongside Mia Wasikowska, as 19-year old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. In the movie Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and to end the Red Queen’s reign of terror.

The flick, brought to life by visionary director Tim Burton, looks set to live up to all the hype – and more.
With the colorful characters and larger than life visually stunning sets Alice In Wonderland is sure to wow the crowds.

The movie also stars Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover and Matt Lucas, with voiceovers by Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Christopher Lee, Paul Whitehouse and Barbara Windsor.
Alice In Wonderland is scheduled for release on March 5th.
