Rihanna swept yet another event in the Best Dressed category, this time in an off-white, super dramatic Stephane Rolland Couture creation. In a close second was model Iman in Jason Wu.

Who Wore It Best: Rachel McAdams vs. Rumer Willis
Posted on Sep 08, 2009 @ 02:09PM - 1 comment

While Rachel McAdams has been on a three-month long tear promoting The Time Travelers Wife, we bet the only time she wishes she could wind the clock back Saturday, when she showed to a film festival in France in this Stella McCartney jacket.
While the black lace number is high-fashion and flattering, it was also done three days early by Rumer Willis.
Young Rumer donned the same jacket (paired with cigarette pants and a clutch) at Wednesday's Sorority Row premiere.
So who wore it best?
Though we're huge fans of Rachel's Time style, Rumer embodies the vintage chic of McCartney's label with her beauty and accessory savvy.
Who do you think rocked the jacket harder? Tell us in comments.
Style Radar: Drop-Dead Glam at Sorority Row
Posted on Sep 04, 2009 @ 09:13AM - 2 comments

While we don't know how she fares against the hooded killer in Sorority Row, Rumer Willis triumphed in a lace Stella McCartney jacket at last night's Hollywood debut of the slasher.
Check out the other Sorority stars from the red carpet in Style Radar.
Willis has been making top fashion marks for the whole of Row promotion, in girly getups from the likes of Zac Posen. She's developing her personal style and depending on box office numbers next weekend, her own stab at movie stardom.
Until then, mom Demi showed out to support Rumer in a standard LBD with ruffles and rose detail down the front.
Other women in black: Audrina Patridge in a textured mini with a sweetheart neckline and adorable bow-shaped clutch, Jamie Chung in a tattered shift and newcomer Briana Evigan in a sat dress with a soupy train.
Stella McCartney Wins "NUDE" Fight Against Ali Hewson

Fashionista Stella McCartney will launch her own fashion line STELLANUDE this weekend after beating U2 star Bono’s wife Ali Hewson in a copyright court battle, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Hewson owns a company called Nude Brands Limited (NBL) which had a European Community Trademark on ‘NUDE’ in capital letters.
And she requested an emergency injunction to stall release of the perfume pending a full trial on trademark infringement.
It's A "Nude" Fight -- Bono's Wife Alison Hewson Sues Stella McCartney
Posted on Aug 12, 2009 @ 10:18AM - 4 comments

In one of the more bizarre celebrity feuds, fashion designer Stella McCartney and Bono’s wife Alison Hewson are engaged in a down and dirty fight over the word “nude.”
Hewson, 47, and her business partner Bryan Meehan, 40, founder of organic food chain Fresh And Wild are suing McCartney’s company over the use of the word nude in her new fragrance Stella Nude.
Unfortunately, Newson and Meehan also have a company called Nude Skincare which boasts model Helena Christensen among its devotees.
"Nude Skincare is suing for compensation, not with anything to do with the new scent but because of branding and the use of the word nude,” an insider told The UK Daily Mail newspaper.
“It would be quite funny if it weren’t being taken so seriously – there are other perfumes with similar names after all,” adds the insider.
But the nude theme is a large part of 37-year-old McCartney’s fashion brand and she has already created a collection of designs based on nude flesh tones which will feature models parading in them from head to toe.
A writ has already been issued but McCartney’s company is hoping to settle the matter out of court and with the new scent coming-out in September the bottle is a nude color to go with the theme.
The case will come before the Chancery Division in London which deals in infringement and copyright claims -- let’s hope Sir Paul and Bono can get around the peace table and thrash out a deal before then!
Madonna & Guy Ritchie: Sharing Friends Nicely?
Posted on Jul 03, 2009 @ 08:01AM - Add a comment

Despite rumors of a sour love connection, are Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie playing nicely with one another's friends?
It would sure seem that way, as Madonna has been busying herself with settling in new daughter Mercy James, Ritchie has been partying with her close pals and collaborators.
Thursday evening in London, fashion house Prada threw a chic benefit for the Congo, where Ritchie joked and laughed intimately with longtime Madonna friend Stella McCartney (pictured), designer and daughter to Beatle Paul McCartney.
Just two nights prior, Ritchie hosted Justin Timberlake at his pub in London, a major collaborator and influence on Madge's last top-selling disc Hard Candy.
Someone warn Gwyneth Paltrow, Ritchie may be ringing soon to make a cameo in Goop.
