The sun shined on the red carpet Saturday at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, and inside the wattage was just as bright as the biggest and brightest stars of Hollywood gathered to congratulate each other on their past year's work.
The SAG Awards are the only awards where actors vote for each other, and they guarantee a stellar turn out of the who's who in the Entertainment Industry's movie and TV worlds.
This year didn't disappoint, with the creme de la creme of Hollywood gathering together, hoping to garner a coveted award.
The SAG Awards show doesn’t have an official host but the list of star-studded presenters include Justin Timberlake, Kyra Sedgwick, Alec Baldwin, Steve Carell, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Jane Lynch, Michelle Monaghan, Chris O’Donnell, Anna Paquin, Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, Russell Crowe, Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, Forest Whitaker, John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Sigourney Weaver, Ray Romano, Jeremy Renner, Carey Mulligan and Anna Kendrick.

The Lovely Bones centers on the murder and after life of a 14-year-old and shows the family left behind and their struggle to deal with their loss. New Zealand actress Rose McIver spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com about being part of the award-winning cast directed by Peter Jackson.

“It’s been exciting,” Rose said about working with the cast. “It’s better than you imagine. Peter is so fantastic, down to earth.”
Rose plays Lindsey Salmon, the older sister of Susie who is murdered by their neighbor George Harvey, a role which has garnered Stanley Tucci a Golden Globe nomination. The 22-year-old had to play the sister at three different ages, and Rose said the way she was able to portray the ages drawing from her memories. “You remember the things you did and cared about at those ages, and that made it much easier.”
Mark Wahlberg Welcomes Baby Number Four
The most difficult scene to film for Rose was where she flees from Stanley Tucci. “There were so many takes and I had to be terrified for the scene and with the physical demands of the scene it was quite difficult.”
The movie does have comedic relief provided by Susan Sarandon as the grandmother who does everything with a cigarette and a cocktail in her hand. Rose gets a “make-over” from Susan in the film and said “I think she used about a dozen eggs in my hair, she just did whatever she wanted and it was quite fun.”

However, Kate passed away in May from cancer. Trying to move on from the awkward moment, Tucci quickly responded “No” then looked to Barbara Walters and the other women to move on.
Shortly after the incident, Hasselback took to her Twitter page to explain the gaffe and the fallout.
“It was an honest mistake with stanley tucci today & i called him to apologize,” she wrote. “He forgave me (such grace)- if only i could forgive myself...”
