Sandra Bullock has signed on to star in her first feature film since the scandal involving her marriage to Jesse James exploded.

The Oscar winner will re-team with her Proposal co-star Ryan Reynolds in Most Wanted, reports The Wrap.
The film is written by another Proposal alum, Pete Chiarelli.

In Most Wanted, Bullock plays a criminal suspect who is forced to go on the run with her FBI agent (Reynolds) escort when the duo are ambushed on their way to the courthouse.

This is the actresses’ first film since winning her Oscar for The Blind Side and ending her marriage to Jesse James after his infidelities were publicly disclosed.

Sandra Bullock rebounded into the spotlight at the MTV Movie Awards -- and made a 'look-what-you're-missing-out-on-Jesse-James' statement!

RadarOnline.com was there at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles where Sandra collected the MTV Generation Award, to overwhelming applause and a standing ovation.
Wearing a sequined black dress, Bullock told the crowd she just wanted to "go back to normal" and insisted that she's "not going anywhere".
It was her first appearance on television since her well-publicized split with serial infidel Jesse James.

"No matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I like what I'm doing and I'm not going anywhere," the 45-year-old Oscar winner said.
"Speaking of what you might have seen or heard, I wanted to clarify some things: number one, I'm not dead and number two, everyone has cellulite, not just me."

Bullock was honored with the Generation Award "for her riveting and diverse contributions to the film industry" -- and the award was presented by Bradley Cooper, Betty White and Scarlett Johansson.
Cooper, Bullock's All About Steve co-star, told the actress universally considered America's sweetheart that he hoped she knew, "how loved you are... you are once-in-a-generation talent."

White added that Bullock was "grace defined".
"Sandy, you are a national treasure," she said.
"Which I know a thing or two about since my ovaries were recently named historical monuments."

Upon arriving on stage, Bullock said: "I'd like to thank Betty for being such an extraordinary woman... because of the person she is and the life she lives. I want your life."
For what it's worth, Bullock's left-hand ring finger was vacant, an acknowledgement to her looming and luming divorce.

And in a well-choreographed lighter moment, Bullock questioned why Scarlett -- who is to wed her Proposal co-star Ryan Reynolds -- was on stage.
"This is so weird... Scarlett, I really love you and all, but this is just uncomfortable. Why are you here?," Bullock asked.

Said Johansson: "Well, since Ryan was working, I wanted to be here in his place when you guys won Best Kiss."
"That’s so nice," Bullock replied. "But we didn’t win."
"Right...well...I thought you should have won...it was a great kiss," said Johansson.
"It was," Bullock told her. "It really was."

The pair then shared a brief smooch themselves!
Bullock then got back on topic, asking: "Now that we have done that, can you please go back to normal? "Because therapy is expensive... Get back to making fun of me!"

But in a true mark of the person, the popular star closed out the moment by saying that everyone's thoughts should be with those who are currently affected by the oil spill in the Gulf, the nation's worst environmental disaster.

It was a guys’ night out at Sony Studios Saturday night for Spike TV’s 4th Annual Guys Choice Awards and RadarOnline.com was there as Sandra Bullock made a surprise appearance. It was Sandy's first public outing since her marriage scandal broke.

Looking radiant and relaxed, Bullock accepted the Troops Choice award as Entertainer of the Year.
Sandra indirectly addressed her husband Jesse James' cheating and her divorce, and she seemed thrilled to be back in the spotlight.
