The occupants of a Norwegian courtroom collapsed into a flood of tears as the shooter in the country’s deadliest massacre recounted in horrific detail the day he killed 77 of their friends and family members last July.

Anders Behring Breivik had no regard for the feelings of his victims’ loved ones as he told the Oslo courtroom how he shot panicked teens at point blank range on Utoya island where the Labour Party was holding a youth camp, reported the Telegraph.co.uk and the cold-hearted testimony was rebroadcast to 17 other courts across the country.

The new judge presiding over the second degree murder trial of shooting suspect George Zimmerman has been named as Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr.

A veteran of the bench for 15 years, Lester took over the case on Wednesday after Circuit Judge Jessica Recksiedler was requested to step down by the defense due to a possible conflict of interest, because her husband’s law partner is Mark NeJame, who's been hired to comment on the case for CNN.

Virginia Tech students were encouraged to attend class Monday, the five-year anniversary of the school's 2007 massacre in which 23-year-old Virginia Tech student Cho Seung-Hui killed 32 people, then himself.

In the years since the deadliest mass killing in contemporary American history, classes have been canceled, with this being the first year the normal schedule will resume with hopes of healing on the mind.

Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey announced the formal charges at the state attorney's office in Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday afternoon, where she pledged, “We will continue to seek the truth.”

Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey is expected to make the announcement at around 6 p.m. EST, reported MSNBC.com, and Seminole County sheriff's deputies were already preparing for an emotional response by setting up barricades along the booking area for new inmates at the county jail.

Deadly Shooting In Tulsa May Be Hate Crime, Bail Set For $9.1 Million Each

A deadly shooting spree that left three African American men dead and two others injured is being investigated as a possible racial hate crime.

The gunmen who terrorized the north side of Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Friday night were in court on Monday where they were arraigned and held on $9.1 million bail each, reported KTUL.com.

Neither Jake England, 19, nor Alvin Watts, 32, had an attorney present and police have not yet determined which man was the alleged shooter, but they have both been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of shooting with the intent to kill and one count of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

When asked if the triple murder was a hate crime, Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris replied that it was too early to determine.

The ex-cops were accused of shooting the unarmed civilians on the Danziger Bridge on September 4, 2005, six days after the deadly storm devastated the Louisiana city, CNN.com reported.
