How Much Would You Pay For These Shoes?
Posted on Nov 19, 2009 @ 07:19PM - 1 comment

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE:
How much do you think these fashionable shoes go for? $100? $200?
First let me tell you that we had the company send us a pair so we could see if they were comfortable (they are) and well made (yes.)
After hours of strutting around the office, we still felt like we could go out dancing!
They’re from this new company called AMI which doesn’t only offer shoes but clothes, accessories, swimwear and beauty cosmetics.
Give up? $25. Seriously. We wouldn’t have believed it either until we tired it with our own feet.

The Shoe With Sole: PF Flyers

And who says change is bad? The updated PF Albin shoe had me at the leather detail paired with the sporty black patent. Admittedly, I'm a traditionalist and was nervous about such a wide white sole--my look is co-op board, not skateboard.
I experimented with a day-to-night transition for the shoes, the ideal mission of a sneaker that's got texture and dark color schemes. At the office, it was age appropriate (I'm 25) but still showed a sense of adventure paired with darkwash denim.

There's nothing better than a cute pair of shoes. At least according to Kim Kardashian! The reality TV star launched a new business, ShoeDazzle.com, which RadarOnline.com told you about months ago, remember
For just $39 a month, members get their own "stylist" who helps them pick a new pair of shoes.
"I's kind of like a shoe of the month club," she told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. "And you get everything for 39 dollars a month."
Beginning next month, ShoeDazzle.com will also show its support for Breast Cancer Awareness by featuring a special hot pink pump. Ten percent of all sales will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure.
"This cause is one that is close to my heart," she said. "My grandma is a breast cancer survivor."
So just how many shoes does Kim herself own?
"Well, I like to recycle my stuff," she says. "Usually when I'm done wearing something I'll put it up on eBay. But right now, I probably have a couple hundred pairs. I love boots. I have a lot of boots!"

The Suit Men Want To Wear

A suit styled sneaker, imagine that! New Balance has created a limited edition sneaker that men want to wear and women approve of: the suit collection shoe. Talk about suiting up and showing up! This shoe provides sophisticated style while incorporating elements of trend and comfort to a look.
The hip "ST33" sneaker features authentic detailing both inside and outside of the shoe. Beginning with the shoe’s interior, each shoe is lined with a traditional pinstripe pattern, representative of a dress shirt. The leather, croc-embossed detailing on the outer is inspired by leather dress gloves and the gloss markings on a man’s dress belt. The “N” on each shoe features a subtle tortoiseshell pattern derived from eyeglasses. The shoelaces symbolize a men’s striped suit tie and a small crystal gemstone in each lace is evocative of cufflinks.
The shoe for all occasions. It's James Bond meets Tony Hawk!
