Price invited Inside Edition's Jim Moret into her house of hell to see first-hand the dirt and filth that she wakes up to each morning.

"This looks like an episode from Hoarders," said a shocked Moret, describing Price's house that she shares with her dad, brother and three dogs.

“I lost everything when Gary died," Shannon revealed. “It’s difficult…It’s embarrassing…It just sickens me and it’s not a healthy environment…Gary would be very upset if he knew I was living in that house.”

The Diff'rent Strokes star's ex took Moret into a bedroom piled high with clothes, bedding and shelves. The walls are bare, the uncarpeted floor barely visible under all the clutter. Rays of light struggle to shine through the grimy windows that are scantily covered by scraps of material pinned across them.

Next stop is the kitchen, which isn't fit to stand in never mind cook a meal! Dirty dishes fill the sink and every counter space, food is burned into the stove and more clothes are thrown onto dining room chairs. The cupboard doors all hang open and drawers are broken or missing.

Moret needed to hose himself off after entering the bathroom, where thick black grime stains the bathtub and sink, the mirror is impossible to see through and yet more clothes litter the floor. Price doesn't even shower there, instead she goes to a neighbor's which is clean and hygienic.

Shannon met the diminutive Diff'rent Strokes star in 2007, and they were briefly married in 2008.

EXCLUSIVE: Gary Coleman's Ex Files Papers To Gain Control Of His Estate

Posted on Jul 15, 2010 @ 06:50AM - 34 comments

As the court case over Gary Coleman’s estate wages on, his ex-wife’s attorney is taking the next step to ensure Shannon Price comes out on top. In exclusive documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, her lawyer Todd Bradford officially filed a petition in Utah on Wednesday requesting the court identify Shannon and Gary’s union as common law marriage.

EXCLUSIVE DOCUMENTS: Shannon Price Files For Common Law Marriage

“Today we’re filing papers asking the court to recognize that they [Shannon and Gary] were legally married under common law,” Bradford told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

PHOTOS: Gary Coleman: Through The Years

“In Utah if you’re common law marriage you’re the same as if you were married by ceremony. You’re recognized as being married for all the same purposes as a married couple is.” Gary’s ex-manager Anna Gray is named as the executor of his 2005 will and is locked in a legal battle with Shannon, who has a handwritten codicil from 2007. Shannon and Gary married in August 2007 and divorced in 2008, but Shannon claims they rekindled their relationship and were common law husband and wife up until Gary passed away on May 28.

According to the state of Utah’s common law marriage code, five conditions have to be met: both parties are of legal marriage age and are able to give consent, are capable of being married, live(d) together as man and wife, assume(d) marital responsibilities and duties, and “held themselves out” as husband and wife and others perceive(d) them to be married.

Click Here For Utah’s Common Law Marriage Code:

Among the reasons listed in the documents that Bradford claims prove Gary and Shannon’s union was a common law marriage are: the couple continued a “romantic relationship” even after the divorce; they attended to each others physical, emotional and welfare needs; filed joint taxes; celebrated holidays together; and jointly owned and shared personal property.

“After the entry of the decree of divorce, Petitioner and the decedent continued to have a romantic relationship and engaged in romantic and sexual relations,” as stated in the petition.

“During the post divorce relationship, Petitioner and the decedent each manifested their intent and consent to be married, evidenced by: The decedent named Petitioner as the sole beneficiary of his pension account, the decedent applied for Supplemental Security Income on April 28, 2010, naming Petitioner as his wife, the decedent applied for Social Security Benefits on April 28, 2010, naming Petitioner as his wife.”

The other parties involved in the case, including Gary’s parents Willie & Edmonia Sue Coleman, Anna Gray, and special administrator Robert Jeffs, will have 20 days to file any objections.

“I don’t know what other information they would file trying to disprove a common law marriage,” Bradford said. “I think this is going to be one of the bigger issues in determining the rights of all the parties. We’re going to see if they file anything in the next 20 days. I don’t think the parents’ attorney would. If anyone, I’m guessing it would be Anna’s attorney.”

PHOTOS: Celebs Involved In Murder

According to the petition, Shannon is asking the court for an order declaring her Gary’s surviving spouse, which would ultimately entitle her to the late Diff’rent Strokes star’s estate.

“If you name your spouse in a will as a personal representative or beneficiary or some other capacity, upon divorce that revokes it. But upon remarriage it revives,” Bradford explained. “It would be a huge step [for Shannon] and I think if we get the judge to grant a common law marriage. Part of me wonders if Anna will just drop out at that point because the law is pretty clear. Upon remarriage it revives any will and documents.

“That issue needs to be decided before you can decide who the personal representative is, who the beneficiary is, who’s in control of the assets,” Bradford added. “That’s a major issue in determining those other issues. So that needs to be decided first and that’s why that’s our next move. We want Shannon to be recognized as his spouse.”

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO AND PHOTOS: Todd Bridges, Anna Gray And Friends Attend Gary Coleman's Memorial; Tears Shed

Posted on Jul 13, 2010 @ 06:45AM - 4 comments

A memorial was held Monday afternoon at Il Cielo restaurant in Beverly Hills for Diff’rent Strokes star Gary Coleman where friends gathered to remember him as a kind, generous man with a giant spirit.

RadarOnline.com was there and has exclusive photos, video and details of the bittersweet event attended by approximately 25 people.

Todd Bridges was at the lunchtime event along with Gary’s former agent Robert Malcolm, the executor of his estate Anna Gray, his lawyer Randy Kester, former manager Dion Mial and several producers who worked with Gary and friends whose lives were profoundly touched by the star who died at age 42 on May 28.

Noticeably absent and not invited was Gary’s ex-wife Shannon Price, who posed for photos with the actor in the hospital on his deathbed while he was on life support and later profited from the sale of those pictures.

“Her actions both after the accident and in the days following; taking him off life support so quickly, selling his trains, taking photos when he died,” former business partner Barry Greenberg told RadarOnline.com’s Amber Goodhand of his take on Price.

“I think those were all very strange actions.”

When one person at the event called Gary a “little guy,” Gray spoke up and said, “No, he’s the biggest man in the world.”

That sentiment ran throughout the afternoon.

“This is a special day where the people who helped him or were his friends, can gather and discuss the good times in his life,” Malcolm told RadarOnline.com.

The event started at approximately noon PT and lasted two hours. Guests feasted on calamari, eggplant, pesto pasta, salmon, chicken, mini sliders, chocolate covered strawberries, cream puffs and more.

A woman in attendance said her name was Tree Windsong and she was blind. She said she met Gary when she called into a Tucson, Arizona radio show that was running a “win a date with Gary Coleman” show. Windsong won and went out with Gary, leading to a friendship that lasted years.

One friend of Gary’s talked about his fear of grass because of the germs he believed it harbored and recalled carrying him across her lawn so he could attend her birthday party.

At one point in his life Gary worked as a security guard. A producer who encountered him during this time pitched a project to Gary that would involve Emmanuel Lewis. The two diminutive stars met but things quickly turned contentious.

Gary one-upped his fellow celebrity by saying something he rarely got to utter: “I’m a foot taller than you!”

The story drew laughs throughout the room.

“I can’t say that I was shocked,” Greenberg said of Gary’s death. “I know that he had all kinds of problems in life, all kinds of trouble, both medically and personally and it’s just very sad.”

Gray was still visibly grieving after the memorial telling RadarOnline.com, “I’m not ready to comment, guys. Thank you for the interest.”

More laughs were had when Gary’s former attorney, Randy Kester told RadarOnline.com one of his fondest memories of the actor.

“He had his pants tucked into his boots and I said, ‘Why do you have pants tucked into your boots?’ He said, ‘Well, don’t you think it makes me look taller?’”
