EXCLUSIVE: Shania Twain Not Engaged or Married Says Rep

Shania Twain set the internet world in to a flurry on Monday after photos of a ring on her wedding finger surfaced. She and current beau Fred Thiebaud were spending quality time with their children on the singer’s property and were both wearing rings.
“She is not engaged or married to Fred,” her rep confirmed to RadarOnline.com. He declined to give any further explanation about the sparkly hardware.
Twain split from her husband Robert “Mutt” Lange in May 2008 after discovering he was having a relationship with their longtime secretary Marie-Anne Thiebaud who managed their Swiss estate. Thiebaud was married to Fred at the time.
Months after the split was announced, Fred joined Twain on a trip to New York. They reportedly bonded over their devastatingly public marital failures and have been together ever since.
