Two And A Half Men actor Jon Cryer and his ex wife Sarah Trigger had their day in court Monday as they continued their ongoing, nasty custody battle over their son Charley.

However, both sides are keeping mum on the ruling, with the Judge ordering a closed court during the afternoon’s proceedings, and barring either party from disclosing the outcome.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Cryer was in court seeking to reduce his ordered $8,000 a month child support payments down to zero, with the argument that as he has temporary full time custody he should not have to pay his ex-wife a cent.
A source disclosed to RadarOnline.com that Cryer currently makes upward of half a million dollars a month.

Trigger’s lawyer told RadarOnline.com, “The Judge made a ruling today and we are relieved it is over.”
Another source implied that the ruling definitely went in favor of Trigger, but was unable to give more details.
Both Trigger and Cryer were there at the downtown LA courthouse in person – Cryer’s new wife, Lisa Joyner, attended with Cryer in the morning, sitting next to her husband and providing support to the somber looking actor. RadarOnline.com has learned though that Joyner left at lunchtime and did not return, leaving Cryer to battle it out with his ex-wife solo.

The hearing has resumed, but Judge has closed the court to press and public.
The nasty custody battle rages on between Two And A Half Men actor Jon Cryer and his ex-wife Sarah Trigger.

Cryer was at the downtown Los Angeles courthouse in person on Monday, along with his wife, Lisa Joyner, and his legal team to fight it out over child support payments.

has temporary custody of their son, Charley, so Trigger should be entitled to nothing.

Two and a Half Men actor Jon Cryer is trying to make his ex-wife, Sarah Trigger, homeless, her attorney, Vicky Greene, tells RadarOnline.com in an exclusive statement.
“Cryer is trying to take child support away from my client and he would like to see her homeless,” she said. “Cryer filed a request in November to reduce Sarah Trigger’s child support from $10,000 to $0 but the request was denied by the judge and instead was reduced to $8000.

“The court determined that it was not in their son, Charley’s best interest to take his mother’s child support down to $0.
“He is doing this to the mother of his child.”
A source tells RadarOnline.com that Cryer has temporary custody of Charley and would like permanent custody. He is trying to reduce the child support he pays to Sarah and he is fully aware that without any financial support she will not be able to meet her monthly bills and in all likelihood will lose her home.

“Sarah is already up to her eyeballs in debt and is terrified that she is going to end up homeless,” the source tells RadarOnline.com. “She is fully aware that it will be very difficult to win custody of her son back if she is homeless, something that I’m sure that Jon is more than aware of too.
“The crazy thing is that it is actually costing him more to litigate against her and the child support than it would cost him just to make the payments!

“You’re looking at a guy that makes more than half a million dollars a month, and he’s complaining about paying the mother of his child $8,000.”
In papers filed at a Los Angeles court Monday Trigger gave a sworn statement accepting responsibility for an accident involving her other son, Alex, with her current husband that she was subsequently arrested and charged with child endangerment for. She also admitted that she had left Charley at home alone and agreed not to do it again.

Trigger said in the documents, "I have worked very hard to attend therapeutic requirements and finally visitation has been liberalized to include home visits for both of my children, but as it relates to this proceeding, with Charlie. I have done everything I am required to do and beyond, because nothing is more important to me than having both of my children returned to me for purposes of within proceeding, having Charlie come home."
Trigger said that she is in dire financial straits, "I am in financial ruins because of all the fees I have incurred and cannot afford to pay. I am up to my ears in debt." She says she isn't opposed to working, but says her ex is spreading rumors about her. "One of the problems I have encountered, aside from the negative publicity and Jon's stature in the business (I also have been told he is spreading negative rumors about me), is that no one is willing to push my name because I cannot actually commit to work due to my DCFS visitation and therapeutic schedule." She says without child support from Cryer, "I will be forced out into the street."
For his part, Cryer fired back with a list of objections to his ex-wife’s statements, requesting certain parts be struck off the record.

A hearing will be held on Monday for Cryer's objections and his request that those statements be stricken from the record.
When contacted by RadarOnline.com, reps for Cryer had “no comment.”

Charlie Sheen has returned to work one day after pleading not guilty in his domestic violence case stemming from the Christmas day incident with his wife Brooke Mueller and RadarOnline.com can exclusively report that the show has closed ranks around their star. His sit-com Two and a Half Men shoots on the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, California, and RadarOnline.com has learned that there will not be an audience this week as Charlie resumes filming.
Taping of the show happens on Fridays and is usually in front of a live studio audience, but this Friday it will be a closed set. Sheen makes a reported $900,000 an episode on the show, making him the highest paid actor on series television.

Despite reports surfacing on Thursday that an ex-boyfriend of Jon Cryer's ex-wife Sarah Trigger had confirmed she was behind a hit man plot against the Two and a Half Men star, RadarOnline.com has exclusive audio of a voicemail from the ex clearing Trigger's name and recanting his earlier allegations.

Trigger's ex-boyfriend Eddie Sanchez called her mother in January confirming that he knew Trigger "didn't do anything" despite previously saying she had asked him to kill Cryer and her estranged husband David Dickey.
"I’ve been interviewed by federal agents and lawyers are calling me uhhh...P.I.’s are calling me uhh...I just want to know how Sarah’s doing and give her some information that uhh... I have told the (inaudible) so she doesn’t have to worry about you know," he said in the voicemail.
"I know she didn’t do anything, so...I just wanted for you to tell her that I explained to those people everything..."

Her lawyer Vicki Greene explained that Sanchez's initial statements alleging Trigger's involvement in a murder plot were made because "[Sanchez] was angry about being dragged into a court proceeding." Two and a Half Men's Jon Cryer told authorities that he suspected his ex-wife hired a hit man to kill him and the FBI went to her house Thursday to interview her. But RadarOnline.com spoke to Sarah Trigger's attorney Vicki Greene who maintains Trigger's innocence and even demanded that Cryer publicly clear his ex's name.
“I think Jon should be ashamed of himself and he should make a public statement clearing Sarah's name because this is ridiculous," Greene told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
"Jon could say he knows darn well that there is nothing to this. That Sarah didn't do this."

Greene says that the FBI did not contact her but confirmed that they did interview Trigger. She warned people not to add undue meaning to the visit.

There was turmoil on the set of Two and a Half Men on Friday after an apparent threat to star Jon Cryer but his ex-wife told RadarOnline.com exclusively that she had nothing to do with it.
Sarah Trigger went through a bitter divorce from Cryer and when RadarOnline.com asked her if she was involved in the situation that sent security scrambling she told us: "I don't know the nature of the threats...I have nothing to do with what happened. I personally didn't make any threats or comments on the set to anyone.
"Honestly it seems mean-spirited."

The nature of the threat has not been identified by officials and Trigger has not been officially linked or ruled out as having anything to do with it.

Jon Cryer's Ex-Wife Arrested For Felony Child Neglect

Actor Jon Cryer’s ex-wife was arrested and booked Thursday early morning on a felony child neglect charge by detectives in Hermosa Beach, California.
40-year-old Sarah Trigger was transported from her home to the police station where she posted $100,000 bail at 9:05pm Thursday. She was then released.
Cryer and Trigger have a eight-year-old child together.
