California Attorney General Kamala Harris has formally denied Jonah Shacknai's request for the office to re-examine the deaths of his girlfriend, Rebecca Zahau, and son, Max, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Rebecca's nude body was found hanging from a balcony at Jonah's Coronado mansion, two days after Max was found unconscious at the base of the stairs. Cops ruled Rebecca's death a suicide, something her family vehemently disagrees with.

Adam Shacknai Polygrapher Recommended Another Lie Detector Test

The polygrapher that gave Adam Shacknai his lie detector test, tells RadarOnline.com exclusively, that the results of the test were inconclusive, and that he recommended to the San Diego Sheriff's Department that another test be given.

Adam's billionaire brother Jonah Shacknai was dating Rebecca Zahau, who was found nude, and hanging from a balcony at the Medicis' CEO's mansion in Coronado, a wealthy suburb of San Diego.

Cops contend that Rebecca killed herself. Rebecca's family vehemently disagrees with the San Diego Sheriff's Department's conclusion that she committed suicide and are pushing for the investigation to be reopened.

There appears to be another mystery in the Rebecca Zahau suicide case that could re-open the investigation into the cause of her death, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The San Diego Sheriff's Department determined the cause of Rebecca's death to be a suicide, after her naked body was found hanging from a rope at her billionaire boyfriend, Jonah Shacknai's mansion in Coronado, a posh suburb of San Diego.

A local news helicopter was over the scene of Rebecca's gruesome suicide shortly after her body was discovered, and in a still image that RadarOnline.com has reviewed, there is not a pink rope visible hanging from the balcony, although you can clearly see Rebecca’s lifeless body still on the ground.

The devastated family of Rebecca Zahau -- the woman who police say committed suicide at her billionaire boyfriend’s mansion in Coronado, California -- says Rebecca’s personal belongings haven’t been returned to them, and they won’t be until a judge releases them.

“The police still have Rebecca’s computer and cell phone,” Snowem Horwath, Rebecca’s sister, exclusively told RadarOnline.com.  “We want Rebecca’s things back so that nothing can happen to them.”

The San Diego Sheriff’s Department held an extensive news conference on Friday, announcing their belief that Rebecca committed suicide and that the case was closed, so the family expected that they would have their beloved Rebecca’s things back.

The San Diego Sheriff's Department is willing to reopen the Rebecca Zahau case, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. The department ruled her death a suicide last week.

Lt. Larry Nesbit of the San Diego Sheriff's Department tells RadarOnline.com exclusively: "If we get a new lead in the Zahau case, or a new witness comes forward, we would absolutely look into. Just because we made our findings last week that her death was a suicide, doesn't mean that if new evidence was presented to us, that we wouldn't look into.

“We would have an obligation to do so. it's really a matter of semantics, just because we said the case was closed on Friday, doesn't mean that we wouldn't open the investigation again."
