The Karate Kid might have met his match -- and we're not talking about 80s teen flick bad guy William Zabka.
Rather, Ralph Macchio's worst enemy on Monday's edition of Dancing with the Stars was his own body, as injuries to his knee and calf caused him to limp to a night-worst 46 out of 60 possible points.
For the eighth week of ABC's hit ballroom competition, each contestant had to perform two dances, worth up to 30 points apiece: their usual routine and an "instant dance" they'd only have to minutes to rehearse for, with the song being picked out of a hat.

As the season winds down, Dancing with the Stars is heating up -- and so is Kirstie Alley.
"Up at the crack of dawn... Thinking of brothels, heat, money, passion, tension, anger, frustration, sex.... In other words...TANGO..." the actress tweeted early Monday in anticipation of her appearance on the ABC hit tonight.

Not since the 1987 thriller Fatal Attraction has a bunny been so mistreated.
Playboy stunner Kendra Wilkinson was voted off Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday's results show, as her tango and group dance on Monday left her with a mediocre 61 out of 80 possible points. (In all fairness though, Kendra actually got a better score than Kirstie Alley and Romeo, who didn't get the boot!)

Ralph Macchio was the comeback kid, while Hines Ward continued his scorching run on Monday's edition of Dancing with the Stars.
The Karate Kid star and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver tied for the night's highest score with 66/80 possible points, as the competitors had to dance both in groups and individually.
Serving as guest judge was Donnie Burns, a 16-time Latin world champion dancer who has long known judge Len Goodman through their places in the dance community. (Len said he first met Donnie when he judged him 45 years ago when Donnie was only 10-years old). The guest coaches this week were champion dancers Shirley Ballas (mother of the show's Mark Ballas) and Luca Baricchi.

Smirnoff, who fell during her Monday night number with her celeb partner, The Karate Kid's Ralph Macchio, said she was "shocked, panicked and asking for divine intervention" after the slip-up.
The 33-year-old Playboy covergirl, appearing with Macchio on KIIS-FM's On Air with Ryan Seacrest Tuesday, said she "just tripped on Ralph's coat and landed on my butt ... I felt like I was sitting there in slow motion."

The theme of the night was Guilty Pleasures, with 90s rockers Hanson opening the show with their smash hit MMMBop.
