Following his guilty plea in an Indio, California court, actor Jeremy London’s accused kidnapper, Brandon Adams, was released from jail on Wednesday and London’s family couldn’t be happier, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

"We are pleased that Brandon is going home after many months in jail. The DA obviously didn't feel there was credibility for a case and offered a deal that would get Brandon out of jail immediately,” the statement given exclusively to RadarOnline.com from Jeremy’s brother, Jason London, his fiancée Sofia Karsten and the boys’ mother Debbie Nielsen, reads.

“Otherwise, this case would have gone to trial and such lesser charges would never have been offered. Brandon pleaded to far lesser charges – NOT to what he was being accused of – so that this could be over and he could go home to his family.

RadarOnline.com has learned that the Riverside County District Attorney’s office isn’t satisfied with the case presented to them by the Palm Desert Police Department and wants further investigation into the alleged incident - despite the fact that the alleged victim in the case doesn’t want to press charges.

Several prosecutors and investigators with the Riverside County DA’s office met early Wednesday and determined that more investigation is needed before they can make a decision on whether or not to file charges against the 24-year-old star.

Jeremy London is expected to take the stand Friday at a preliminary hearing connected to his alleged kidnapping case, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The hearing for Brandon Adams, one of the men accused of kidnapping London and allegedly forcing him to do drugs back in June, will take place in an Indio, California, courtroom.

A rep for the Riverside County District Attorney’s office told RadarOnline.com exclusively, “The preliminary hearing will move forward and we expect Mr. London to testify at that hearing.”

Of the three men London claims kidnapped him and held him hostage for five hours, Palm Springs Police have only arrested 26-year-old Adams, who remains in custody on $500,000 bail.

London told Palm Springs Police that he was minding his own business on the afternoon of June 10, when three men, including Adams, offered to help him change a flat tire.

But in an exclusive jailhouse interview with RadarOnline.com, Adams painted a different picture of the incident, saying that he, two other men and London went on a consensual drug and alcohol induced “joyride for hours” in Palm Springs.

“There was no gun. There was never a pipe," Adams told RadarOnline.com. "We got drunk and I hooked him up with some Ecstasy and Xanax and we took a joyride and partied for hours."

Adams said he later dropped London off near a Radisson Inn.

Adams told RadarOnline.com that while he did help London and his wife Melissa with their flat, the rest of the troubled actor's story is completely fabricated.

"My uncle and I and another guy went up and asked them if they needed help with the flat," Adams said. "We helped them change it and asked if they could give us a ride home. And Jeremy said yes."

Adams continues, "As soon as we got in the car, Jeremy asked us if we could get him five Xanax and five Oxycontin. Melissa was asking for Xanax too. I told him I could hook him up but that I wanted a couple of beers. He agreed.

"Jeremy wanted to drink, so we bought beer and some hard alcohol and we got f****d up," Adams said. "Jeremy was just drinking beer but we were wasted. We went driving around my neighborhood, handing out beer to my friends and random people on the street. We were having a good time."

After a while, Adams says London's mood suddenly changed and the actor became erratic and irritated. Adams says London started telling him to “get him pills.”

"I hadn't been able to get any Xanax or Oxycontin up to that point, but I was finally able to get him three Ecstasy and three Xanax pills. He took all six pills at once. He was out of his mind high," Adams told RadarOnline.com.

Adams' confession blows a gaping hole in London's kidnapping story. London has adamantly stuck to his story, even telling RadarOnline.com in an exclusive video interview that he feared he was going to die at the hands of Adams and the two other suspects when they made him smoke illicit drugs.

As RadarOnline.com was first to report, both London and Melissa have been to rehab for pill addictions and have lost custody of their 3-year-old son Lyrik as a result. They both must undergo random drug testing as part of their custody battle.

Regarding allegations of London's drug use, a rep for the actor sent this statement to RadarOnline.com, "Jeremy London has consistently passed all random drug testing administered by the State of California. Enough said!"
