Kesha Nichols, the beautiful bride left at the altar by New Jersey Nets hoopster Richard Jefferson, told Good Morning America Wednesday, said she is not as despondent as media reports have portrayed her as, but rather ready to pick up the pieces and move on with her life.
Nichols, who said she's "lived every girl's worst nightmare," said her optimism stems from her craft.
"When you're heartbroken, just dance," she said. "Just keep dancing for life."

NBA star Richard Jefferson caused a quite a stir last week, calling off planned nuptials to former dancer and fiance Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols.

The pair planned an intimate but elaborate wedding at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City, which was abruptly cancelled by Jefferson, followed by his prompt dumping of Nichols, reports say.
A source tells RadarOnline.com that Nichols, once a dancer for the New Jersey Nets, still had her entire family fly out and join her in mourning.
"Kesha's family came anyway...they met at the hotel, as if it was a funeral," the source tells us.
Jefferson is said to have left his American Express Black card with the hotel, to ensure his own friends were shown a good time despite the awkward--and in some cases tragic--occasion.
