Van der Sloot is believed to have left Peru through customs into Chile, and headed toward Argentina, according to officials in Peru, who have issued an international arrest warrant for the Dutch honors student.
Ramirez disappeared last Friday and later was found fatally stabbed and wrapped in a blanket on Wednesday in a room that was registered under Van der Sloot’s name at the Miraflores Hotel Tac in Lima, Peru.
