Josh Duhamel: 'All My Children Was The First Time I Ever Felt Accepted'

Hunky actor Josh Duhamel lights up the big screen these days starring in the blockbuster hit Transformer movies, but he says that his role on a soap opera was the first time he ever "felt really accepted."

In an exclusive interview with Soap Opera Digest Duhamel discusses his return to All My Children as con artist Leo du Pres.

"Being on All My Children, it was the first time I ever really felt accepted and that people felt I was good," Josh said about his role that started in 1999. "So much of my life was trying to prove to people that I was worthy, that I was good, that I could do a good job, because up to that point, I was shut down a lot.

Despite a very respectable performance, Olympian Jonny Moseley was eliminated Monday on Skating With The Stars, leaving actress Rebecca Budig to battle reality TV star Bethenny Frankel for the title of the show's first champion.

"I guess I'm a little surprised," Moseley said after he was eliminated. "[My skate partner] Brooke [Castile], that was an amazing experience and I appreciate how much effort you put in to make me a better skater. I enjoyed spending time with you and you're a great friend."

Brandon Mychal Smith left Skating With The Stars on Monday night's edition, as the 21-year-old Disney star suffered a stomach virus so severe, the show’s doctors could not clear him to hit the ice.

"The journey has been fruitful and very fulfilling," Mychal Smith, alongside his partner Keauna McLaughlin, said as he left. "It's been a roller coaster of a time. I'm feeling very disappointed."

And you thought dancing was dangerous: After suffering a slashed hand in an accident with her celeb partner Jonny Mosley, pro skater Brooke Castile had to wear a bandage for her performance on Monday night's edition of Skating With The Stars, and she was only one of many competitors who'd been injured as a result of their efforts on the ABC spin-off.

Castile's hand required “a bunch of stitches” after it was cut to the bone when Mosley accidentally tripped her, as she made contact with his sharp skate on the way down. Much to her credit, she skated in pain, and wound up earning night's highest score with Mosley, a 35-year-old Olympic skier.

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was eliminated from Skating with the Stars Monday as the rocker’s clumsy form earned him the night’s lowest score and a ticket off the ABC show.

The Dr. Feelgood singer, who was partnered with pro-skater Jennifer Wester, called his experience on the DWTS spin-off "a lot of fun.

"It was really a great experience to re-learn something that I knew so long ago," said the rocker, who was tied ex-Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel for night's lowest score with 36 out of 60 possible points. "There's a lot of great skaters here, and the judges were nice to me."

As a Gold Medal-winning Olympic skier, Jonny Moseley was a fearless dare-devil and he's taking the same approach with the sequin costumes he'll be wearing when when he takes to the ice Monday for the premiere of Skating with the Stars.

"You show up for the day and they add sequins to [your costume] so what are you going to do!?" he joked during an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com.

"I’m not afraid," he added. "Johnny Weir is a judge and style is going to be important. I’ve got to push the limit a little bit."

Moseley is competing against Housewife Bethenny Frankel, Disney star Brandon Smyth, rocker Vince Neil, soap star Rebecca Budig and actress Sean Young in ABC's version of Dancing with the Stars on ice.

Taking part in the show was a "no brainer" for Moseley, he tells RadarOnline.com.

"I jumped at the opportunity actually. Obviously I’ve watched Dancing with the Stars and it looked like everyone has a great time and it seems to provide some interesting opportunities too. But on a personal level I’m a winter sports guy. I grew up watching figure skating. I did some free style skiing and even did some ski ballet. I’m a trick guy. I like axels. I’ve always wanted to know the difference between a sow cow and a loop!

Moseley is paired with pro skater partner Brooke Castile and he couldn't be happier.

"She’s great. We hit it off right away," he says. "She’s a competitive little figure skater, really fit and she knows her stuff. She was a national champion, world class athlete so we clicked right away. Considering I have no skating experience she’s brought me a long way."

Moseley has picked two of the ladies as his strongest competitors. "Rebecca has her own skates and she apparently did some figure skating as a kid. So I’m kinda worried about her the most I guess. And she’s a total sandbagger! Every time I see her she makes it seems like I’m a snake in the grass to cover how good she is!

"And Bethenny was doing death spirals the first time I saw her. It’s so hard for the male partner to do that sitting down and it’s also apparently very difficult for the woman. She was doing that like day two! I could barely stand up and she’s doing this?! It took us four weeks just to work into that. I do not see myself as the favorite that’s for sure."

ABC has announced the cast for its latest TV competition show, Skating with the Stars, and it includes Real Housewives of New York's Bethenny Frankel, Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil and notorious actress Sean Young, who famously donned a home-made catsuit and crashed a studio lot trying to win the role of Catwoman in 1982's Batman Returns.
