Does Oprah Winfrey have buyer's remorse trading in her iconic talk show for an entire network bearing her name? Not quite.
The media legend, speaking with protégé Dr. Mehmet Oz Wednesday, admitted that while she misses aspects of her former career, she's still focused on making her OWN network take off after a year of sagging ratings.

Apparently, the Dunphys and the Pritchetts have a bit more of the elusive X Factor than even Simon Cowell himself.
Fresh off its five Emmy wins, ABC’s Modern Family had its best ever ratings for its third season premiere Wednesday night, and even beat Cowell’s highly anticipated (and highly hyped) debut of The X-Factor, according to early Nielson data.

Oprah Winfrey went out on top.
Her very last show on Wednesday scored a 13.3 household rating, the most she's had in 17 years.
It's impossible to translate that figure into an exact number of viewers, since only half the nation's markets are metered, and St. Louis didn't see the show at all on Wednesday, since the Oprah affiliate there was forced to preempt her for storm coverage. (The station instead aired her finale show on Thursday).

In her last emotional goodbye to her millions of viewers, Oprah Winfrey revealed to fans how much the last 25 years on the air have meant to her.
"Every single day when I came down from the make-up room on our Harpo elevator I would offer a prayer of gratitude for the delight and the privilege of doing this show," gushed the talk show queen during her very last episode Wednesday.
