VIDEO & PHOTOS: Charlie Sheen On Stage In NYC -- Memories Of Detroit

To borrow a phrase from the legendary New York Yankee Yogi Berra, it was "deja vu all over again" for Charlie Sheen Friday night at Radio City Music Hall. You would have thought you were in Detroit the way the crowd heckled and booed, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

Wearing a matching NY Yankees hat and T-shirt, Sheen told his now familiar stories of drugs and partying. Other than mentioning that he was in a Trump hotel, there was little by way of original material for the Big Apple version of My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option.
The crowd apparently had higher expectations and the heckling and jeering started only 30 minutes into a show that started 30 minutes late.

Not to be deterred, Sheen reminded the crowd -- as he did in Detroit -- that they'd paid to see him, suggesting they were getting what they paid for.
And perhaps sensing where his live stand-up -- or rather, sit-down -- career is headed, the former Two and a Half Men star told the crowd, "Of course I want my job back, man."

The show was brief, 30 minutes shorter than what played out in Chicago and Columbus, Ohio. It appeared, several critics noted, that he ran out of patience with the increasingly hostile crowd and just left the stage.
Sheen will be back at Radio City Sunday night.

The gift lounge backstage at Radio City Music Hall in New York City before the 64th Annual Tony Awards was the place to see the stars. They collected some amazing swag at the On 3 Productions lounge and were given the opportunity to do some good along the way too. For every star that stopped by, LG Electronics USA pledged to donate an ultra energy efficient washer and dryer to a Broadway theater in the name of each visitor to the Lounge. When asked “Whose dirty laundry would you most like to wash?”, Paula Abdul replied Simon Cowell, the evening’s host Sean Hayes said President George W. Bush, members of Green Day revealed that Tre Cool has the dirtiest laundry in the band and Lend Me a Tenor star Justin Bartha said Zach Galifianakis took that title on the set of The Hangover!
Glee star (and stand out performer from last night’s show) Lea Michele met Paula Abdul for the first time while receiving a special commemorative bottle of Columbia Crest, Wine Spectator's 2009 pick for the number one wine in the world. Other stars that stopped by included Lea’s co-star Matthew Morrison, Sex and the City 2’s Chris Noth, Rock of Ages star Constantine Maroulis and The Addams Family star Bebe Neuwirth.

But few stars go out of their way to make their fan’s dreams come true – enter Mark Salling, who not only made his super fan’s day, he pretty much made her year!
“Mark had this fan that was just crazy about him,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “She would write him constantly and even set up a website. She’s been trying to get everyone, like Perez Hilton, Ryan Seacrest and Fox TV to put her in contact with Mark but wasn’t able to reach him.

“Eventually Mark heard about the website and he arranged for her to get her 2 tickets to the sold out Radio City Music Hall show in New York this weekend, out of his personal ticket allotment. To say he made this girl’s dreams come true is an understatement!”

Some stars might have been uncomfortable with this level of adoration, but it seems Mark really appreciates his fans. On her website, the super fan, Ashley Faith, professes her love for Salling, even going so far as to perform a special song she penned for him which professes “I’m so obsessed” and “Hey Mark Salling, it’s you I want to marry”.
Guess persistence really does pay off – now where’s George Clooney’s address?
