Rachelle’s music is described as “upbeat, mainstream adult pop, with hints of R&B, rock and dance.”
On her website, Rachelle said one the album’s songs, Here in My Heart, describes the couple's troubled romance.
“It has special meaning for me. Like the lyric says, 'No matter where you are, you’re here in my heart’,” she said.

Upon leaving the courthouse after the sentencing of her husband Phil Spector to 19 years to life for the murder of Lana Clarkson, Rachelle Short maintained Spector’s innocence and also shed light on the rumors that the legendary record producer has throat cancer.
“My husband is not doing very well. He absolutely maintains he is innocent and that he was a victim of a character assassination during his trial,” Rachelle Short told reporters. “This is a sad day for everyone. The Clarksons lost a daughter and a sister but I have lost my best friend too. We will still try for options to bring Phil home where he belongs.”
As for the rumor that Spector is suffering from throat cancer, Short confirmed that, “he does have pre-cancerous pollups on is throat that continually have to be removed and he receives treatment for.”
It took two trials to convict Spector. His first trial was abandoned in 2007 after a jury failed to reach a unanimous decision.
The "Wall Of Sound" producer had been linked with several gun incidents with various women, trial witnesses claimed, over the years before the Clarkson shooting.
Spector's attorney Doron Weinberg says that the 69-year old producer (who worked with icons such as John Lennon, Tina Turner and Leonard Cohen) has kept his spirits high during the trial and sentencing process by focusing on an appeal.
"He's adjusting to the circumstances and settling down to wait out an appeal with high hopes," Weinberg said. "He feels he will win the appeal."
Weinberg also claimed that Spector has “steadfastly maintained since February 3, 2003… that he did not kill Lana Clarkson, and he is not responsible for her death.”
