Zsa Zsa Gabor has successfully undergone surgery at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center to have her right leg amputated, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
“There were no problems during the operation,” Dr. David Rigberg told reporters at a press conference on Friday afternoon.

"She just finished surgery- she seemed to tolerate it well. Although she is in a somewhat frail condition and we'll certainly have to see how she does in the next couple of days."

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s precarious health is a constant concern for her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt and in this 9-1-1 call from November 12, 2010 he reports that she is in tremendous pain.
“She is awake but she has terrible pain, one cannot touch her, I am very worried about her,” her husband tells the operator.

“My wife has a blood clot…the doctor says she has to be rushed to the hospital right away.”
He describes the intense level of her pain. “She just screams when I touch her leg,” he said.

Doctors Monday were waiting on the condition of ailing Zsa Zsa Gabor, who might have to have a portion of her right leg amputated if she does not respond to her latest treatments for ongoing blood clots, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The 93-year-old socialite was taken to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Sunday evening, where doctors detected a growing lesion, according to her publicist, John Blanchette. He added that the amputation might be necessary, or else Gabor could die from gangrene.

It hasn't been an easy year for veteran screen goddess Zsa Zsa Gabor. The 93-year-old has been in and out of the hospital and now it appears that AFTRA Health & Retirement fund- American Federation of Television and Radio Artists – has stopped her pension because the organization thought she was dead!
