Katy Perry's uber religious mother thinks the I Kissed A Girl singer is destined to one day show the way to those in the evangelical church, becoming a worship leader, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Perry's mother, Mary Perry Hudson, has been shopping a book proposal in which she states that her daughter is to become a "Kathryn Kuhlman type of healer."

This kid is a little bit rock n roll, with a dash of R&B and rap, but whatever you want to call it, the music is original and Jared’s vocals grab you by the throat. If you watched last week’s episode of Entourage, that was Jared’s new song “In Love With You” which closed the show on an explosive note.
"To me it carries an angry tone, like I'm mad at you right now, but I still love you," says Jared, whose passion for rock music shines through on the track.

Swedish pop star Robyn is confirmed to play the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards with “house band” Deadmau5 on September 12 live from Los Angeles.
"Deadmau5 is fantastic and I'm super-duper excited to be able to perform for the VMA audience," she said in an e-mail. "I'm gonna be 'dancing on my own'!"

There’s a new pop punk band in town, called Runner Runner, who are on the verge of releasing their debut record this summer. Consisting of members from previous punk bands Rufio, Over It, and Never Look Down, they are the first band to sign to David Letterman’s label, “World Wide Pants Inc. “
They have a slamming new video out now for the single, “So Obvious.”
