REPORT: John Edwards To Admit He Fathered Rielle Hunter's Child

Former U.S. Senator John Edwards is expected to claim paternity of his former mistress' young daughter, Sources tell Raleigh TV station WRAL.
The former mistress, Rielle Hunter, gave birth to a daughter named Frances in 2008, but Edwards has previously said that his affair with Hunter ended before the little girl was conceived, after the National Enquirer first broke the story of Edward's love child.
Edwards, who is being criminally investigated for allegedly improperly funneling campaign funds to Hunter, could publicly admit to being the child's father before the investigation concludes, reports WRAL.
A federal grand jury is investigating whether Edwards' campaign funds were illegally paid to Hunter to keep quiet about the affair.
Hunter spent nine hours last Thursday at the federal courthouse in Raleigh, where the grand jury was meeting. She brought her daughter, Frances, with her.
Also, The National Enquirer reports a secret DNA test was conducted that proves Edwards is the father.

Elizabeth Edwards, the cancer-stricken wife wife of ex-presidential candidate John Edwards, told Oprah Winfrey that her marriage is on a "day-by-day" basis after a scandal exposing her husband's extramarital affairs surfaced last summer.
"Neither one of us is out the door, so I guess it's day-by-day," she told Winfrey in an interview scheduled to air Thursday. "But maybe its month-by-month." Transcripts from the interview were released Tuesday.
