Miley Cyrus 'Can't Be Tamed'

This album says the most about me," says Miley Cyrus about her third solo album, Can’t Be Tamed, which is out today. "I wanted this record to be completely and totally honest. It’s really about a little of everything going on in my life now."
Now on the brink of adulthood at 17, Miley is happily leaving her Disney days behind. "As I’ve gotten older my image has changed a little bit,” says Miley. “I’m more of a woman now than the kid that started on ‘Hannah Montana.’ I’ve grown up. I’ve learned a lot along the way."
She’s rocking a rebellious new look—which has been greeted with the same skepticism Britney dealt with years ago—and cites Joan Jett and Blondie as her influences. Not bad company for a young female artist to keep.
Devo Is Back
Miley co-wrote nearly every track on the album—which is heavy on Lady Gaga-inspired danceable pop—including the first single, the uber-catchy girl-power anthem “Can’t Be Tamed”, which shot to the top of the iTunes’ singles chart last month.

The lyrical content on this album has certainly come a long way from “Party in the U.S.A.” On “Liberty Walk” Miley sings about leaving unhealthy relationships, while on “Robot” she says she will not be controlled by others.
And though she may not have been born when the song came out, Miley’s take on Poison’s 1988 hit “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” is heartfelt, and even features Bret Michaels on guitar. "I told him I’d love to get in the studio and work together on this song,” says Miley. “Now that he’s everywhere, it’s amazing to me that we got on this so early."
Can’t Be Tamed is out now.

One day after he was looking healthy and on his way to recovery on the Oprah Winfrey Show, news comes that Poison front man Bret Michaels was rushed back to the hospital this week, and RadarOnline.com has the details.
Bret was suffering from numbness on the left side of his body, mostly on his face and hands which his doctors described as Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or a warning stroke.

Dr. Joseph Zabramski spoke about the singer’s future, “Bret's brain and body are not quite 100% yet, especially with the hole found in his heart.” He continued “There is no doubt that the positive Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) is devastating news to Bret and his family. The good news is that it is operable and treatable and we think we may have diagnosed the problem that caused the Transient Ischemic Attach (TIA) or warning stroke; however we feel it is highly unlikely this is connected to the brain hemorrhage he suffered just a few weeks earlier. Once again it is great that he quickly reacted to the severe numbness and got to the hospital immediately."

Bret's rep released a statement on the singer’s Facebook page stressing his devotion to his fans and reminding them why he is a rock star. "Bret wants everyone to know he cannot thank you enough for all of the well wishes, prayers, and good vibes you have sent his way. Even though these last few months have been tough on him and his family, especially this most recent setback, he is in good spirits, great medical hands and is positive and hopeful that everything is going to be OK. He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again."

Bret Michaels Inside Scoop About Celebrity Apprentice
Here is an excerpt of the satellite TV interview that aired on Wednesday:
Bret: My life didn’t flash before my eyes. It wasn’t like all of a sudden rerun of my life. What happened was I got very sad.
I went into completely just asking God ‘You’ve got to let me live through this.’ I could tell that how fast everyone was moving around something was bad.
And when a doctor-- I could overhear him saying to Kristi (Bret’s girlfriend and mother of his children) if you have children you should bring them to the hospital now. That was tough.
Oprah: You said you got really sad and started talking to God. Did He talk back?
Bret: He may have I think I was doing a lot of asking at that point. I know I’ve done a lot of rotten things.
