The magic is here: LEGO's Harry Potter: Years 1-4 was released Tuesday in North America for Xbox 360, Microsoft, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP and Windows PC consoles.
The game combines the quirky and fun gameplay of LEGO with the magic of Harry Potter, giving gamers the chance to wield the magic and take on the adventure of the first four Harry Potter books and films (Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban, and Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire).
The adventure builds from Privet Drive to the Triwizard Tournament in an interactive journey that takes players through some of the most detailed and expansive environments ever created for a LEGO game.
“We are very proud to launch LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, bringing LEGO creativity and humor to the rich characters and wonderful storytelling of the Harry Potter books and films,” TT Games' Tom Stone told RadarOnline.com. “The game is our best LEGO game yet and offers a magical building adventure that families will be able to enjoy playing together.”
Gamers have the option of playing as 170 different characters such such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, in one- or two-player settings amidst backgrounds such as including Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and the village of Hogsmeade.
