Hines Ward was arrested for DUI in Georgia Saturday morning, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

The Dancing with the Stars champ and Pittsburgh Steelers superstar was taken into custody outside of Atlanta by the Dekalb County Police Department.

Hines grew up in Atlanta and is revered in the area, as much for his philanthropic endeavors as his feats on the gridiron.

He was released this morning after posting $1,000 bail.

The curse of Friday the 13th struck Dancing with the Stars pro Kym Johnson.

She was rushed to the hospital on Friday afternoon and her rep told RadarOnline.com, “Kym injured herself during rehearsals today.  She was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures, to assure she is ok.”

Jerry Springer may have officially hung up his dancing shoes, but that doesn't mean he isn't a fan still of the wildly popular Dancing With The Stars, which returns Monday night on ABC.

The season 3 alum is rooting for his former pro partner Kym Johnson and football great Hines Ward, he tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

"Kym was my partner and I'm going for her and her partner. I'm hoping Hines Ward will win!" Jerry said.

While the rest of the crowd at the Super Bowl was glued to the football game of the year, Cameron Diaz had baseball on her mind as she hand-fed boyfriend Alex Rodriguez a gridiron snack in their luxury sky box.
