Yes, the furry little critter who emerged during the fifth inning of the NLDS game at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium between the home team Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies -- the second time in a row, an instance like that has occurred during the best-of-five playoff series -- has sparked a Twitter page, with nearly 8,000 followers.

The Philadelphia Phillies are searching for the child who apparently drank from a bottle of beer at a game -- but the little toddler is proving elusive.
Video of the unidentified blonde-headed boy came out following the Phillies' loss to the San Diego Padres.

It shows the boy with a plastic beer bottle in his right hand, drinking from the bottle.

But the Phillies, facing another round of Philadelphia bashing, tell RadarOnline.com their fans are responsible enough to not let a child drink!
“We are confident that our employees and our fans would not allow this to happen if they were aware of it,” said a spokesperson.

The Phillies clubhouse said it has been unable to determine the identity of the child or if the bottle was full or empty, or if it had something other than beer in it.
“We suspect that this was a very brief event, probably involving an empty bottle,” added the spokesperson.
Still, a child protective services agency wants to launch a probe, as RadarOnline.com revealed.

“If the parents did allow the child to drink out of the bottle it is a pure lack of judgment and endangers the child,” said a spokesperson at the Children’s Welfare League of America.
“You don’t know at what point a child can get alcohol poisoning and it’s illegal.
“Probably if your at a game you should be sure to keep substances out of that child’s reach.”

A child protective services agency wants to launch a probe into the child filmed drinking a beer at a recent Philadelphia Phillies baseball game, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In the video clip, a blonde-haired boy takes a swig from a bottle of beer amidst an oblivious crowd of adults during the Phillies game against the San Diego Padres at Citizens Bank Park on June 6.

“If we knew the child’s name then this is something we would definitely investigate although we would have to obtain more information before proceeding,” a spokesman for an officer in the Commissioner’s Action Response Office, which is part of the Department of Human Services in Philadelphia told RadarOnline.com. Since the spokesman had yet to see the video, RadarOnline.com sent the department a link to the footage.

“It is against the law and a question of parental responsibility," City Council spokesman Tony Radwanski told RadarOnline.com. “Hopefully, we can identify the adults who were with this child and find out what really happened because we do not condone this kind of behavior.
“There might be season ticket holders or other fans who can come forward and help the authorities establish who the parents are because it reflects badly on them.”
The 3rd Police District that covers Citizens Bank Park would not comment if they were investigating the incident.

RadarOnline.com spoke with licensed family therapist Dr. Bethany Marshall about her read on the situation: "I am gravely concerned that this child did not make a facial expression that would indicate disgust or surprise at the taste of the beer. This could indicate that the taste of beer is familiar for this child (which, in turn, might reveal a pattern of parental neglect). Neglect is the most common form of child abuse."
