Dawn Holland - the former Betty Ford rehab worker who got involved in a bust-up with Lindsay Lohan - has returned to work as a care provider, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

And while the famous actress walks a legal tightrope over her grand theft charge and parole violation Holland’s lawyer, Owen Latham McIntosh, has told us that the time is “fast approaching” on whether he will file a civil suit against her.

Mother-of-two Holland has been trying to re-build her life following her altercation with Lohan last December – the incident is still being probed by the Riverside District Attorney’s Office although no charges have been filed to date.

Former Betty Ford Center worker Dawn Holland feels sorry for Lindsay Lohan, despite the fact that the troubled actress played a role in the chain of events that led to Holland's firing from the famed clinic, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The mother-of-two lost her job for selling Lindsay's private medical records to a gossip web site after the two got into an altercation last December.  Holland says she suffered injuries in the incident which have left her unable to work.

Holland’s lawyer Owen Latham McIntosh broke the news to RadarOnline.com exclusively and has won the important battle of getting his client’s temporary disability benefits re-instated by Betty Ford after she was fired following the incident at the famous rehab in December, 2010.

McIntosh also tells RadarOnline.com that he has not ruled out a civil lawsuit against Lindsay.

“I can confirm that Betty Ford’s insurance carrier Sedgewick CMS found out in their investigation that my client was ‘not the aggressor’ during the incident and that it did take place under the ‘course and scope’ of her employment at the center,” McIntosh told RadarOnline.com.

The fired Betty Ford Center worker who accused Lindsay Lohan of attacking her, and then refused to cooperate with the criminal investigation, spoke to law enforcement last week, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

Owen Latham McIntosh, the new lawyer for Dawn Holland, told RadarOnline.com: “As far as I know the Riverside District Attorney’s investigation is still on-going.

“They briefly spoke with my client last week but we have not heard anything more from them relating to any charges them may or may not be pursuing.”
