We’re on tour with Tamar “New Day” Kaprelian and her “peeps.” This week the lovely singer video blogs from Ann Arbor Michigan, and “sings a little song” just for us!
New Discovery: Tamar Kaprelian
Perhaps best-known for winning the OneRepublic "Apologize" Cover Contest in 2008, her new single “New Day” is set to establish her as a singer /songwriter with her own chops. Citing Billy Joel and Paul McCartney as influences, the 23 year old is taking our camera with her on her very-first tour. Come along for the “little adventure” as Tamar calls it!

If you’ve heard her voice before, it might be because Tamar won the OneRepublic YouTube contest to cover their big hit” Apologize.” No? Was it when her single “New Day” played on The Hills finale when Lauren says “goodbye?”
Either way, you’ll hear the 22 year old’s dulcet tones soon since she was snapped up by music giant Interscope Records who plans to release her debut album this year.

We’re still on tour with OneRepublic bringing you their photos from live on the road, which this week has included numerous TV appearances. The band is in characteristic good form, joking and keeping everyone awake for a 4 am “Today Show” performance.
“All The Right Moves” continues to burn up the charts but the band is heading off to Europe to conquer the Continent.

OneRepublic are set to open for legendary rockers Bon Jovi as they christen the soon-to-be-opened New Meadowlands Stadium. OneRepublic, along with Train and Gavin DeGraw, were just announced as special guests for the series of inaugural concerts which are part of Bon Jovi's "The Circle World Tour,” on Saturday, May 29th.
