Prosecution's Expert Witness: Casey Anthony Only Searched For 'Chloroform' Once - Not 84 Times

Posted on Jul 20, 2011 @ 11:30AM - 31 comments

Casey Anthony only typed in a web search for the phrase "chloroform" once - not 84 times - according to John Bradley, the software designer who now says the expert testimony he gave for the prosecution last month was inaccurate due to bad information.

Bradley designed the CacheBack software that the prosecution used in the sensational case to track Anthony's online interests.

In his June 8 testimony, he confirmed the prosecution's allegations that Anthony searched for the term "chloroform" 84 times, lending credence to their notion the 25-year-old woman premeditated the killing of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, by immobilizing her with chloroform, then suffocating her.

By Alexis Tereszcuk - Radar Senior Reporter

Casey Anthony's whereabouts Sunday are unknown not only to her parents but also to her aunt and uncle in Ohio, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

There have been numerous rumors that Casey had flown to Ohio following her release from the Orange County Jail at 12:09 am today. If she did, she's not there to stay with her relatives Chuck and Kathy Eddy. Kathy is the sister of Casey's father, George Anthony.

“Casey is not staying with us," Eddy tells us exclusively. "I have no idea where that story came from.”

Just like her parents, Eddy said he has had no communication with his niece. “I haven't heard from Casey and I don't know where she is."

"We were shocked at the verdict," Eddy says.  "The bottom line is you've got a child that was murdered or accidentally killed.”

He said the Anthony family has been incredibly traumatized through everything that followed the death of Casey's daughter, two-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony in 2008.

“You've got a family that was torn apart,” Eddy says with obvious emotion.  “Their granddaughter is gone and they don't speak to their daughter. It is sad."

Cindy tried to visit Casey in jail before her release but was denied and Eddy says George and Cindy Anthony are not in communication with their 25-year-old daughter.

“They don't even know where Casey is.  It's tough but they're doing well. Their faith is strong.

When asked if he agreed with the verdict or if he thought Casey was guilty, Eddy would only say “No comment.”

Casey Anthony’s string of good luck continued on Friday when a judge ruled that she doesn’t have to sit for a deposition from a defamation lawsuit against her until October.

Anthony, 25, has been slapped with a lawsuit from Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, the woman who says her reputation was ruined after Casey lied and said she kidnapped her daughter Caylee.  In 2008 Casey claimed that her daughter was kidnapped by “Zanny the nanny” but her attorney Jose Baez admitted during her trial that she made up the story and that Caylee Marie Anthony was not kidnapped but actually drowned in the family pool on June 16, 2008.
