Lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray and members of his close family are begging Los Angeles Judge Michael Pastor for leniency when he sentences the Houston-based cardiologist at 8:30 am PST Tuesday for his role in the death of Michael Jackson.

Nicole Alvarez, the girlfriend and mother of Dr. Conrad Murray's infant son, testified before a Los Angeles grand jury for almost three hours on Thursday, her attorney, Joseph Low IV, told RadarOnline.com.
"She was cooperative and she did very well," Low told RadarOnline.com. "Nicole willingly participated in the process and has agreed to do so in the future if necessary."

A grand Jury investigating the death of Michael Jackson will hear testimony from Conrad Murray’s girlfriend this week according to the Los Angeles Times.
RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that prosecutors would seat a grand jury to probe the singer’s death
The Los Angeles Country district attorney’s office is asking a grand jury to take testimony from 27-year old Nicole Alvarez, after she refused to cooperate with detectives investigating the singer’s death.

Murray is the target of a manslaughter probe related to Jackson's death, after he acknowledged to investigators that he administered propofol and other medications to Jackson before his June 25 death.
The coroner’s office called Jackson’s death a homicide. Murray has denied any wrongdoing.
