It's not the most shocking revelation, but it's official now.
The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons confirmed his sexuality in a recent interview that mentions he's a gay man and has been in a 10-year relationship.

The Emmy-winning actor did an expose with the New York Times in which they quietly hit on his sexual orientation while talking about a production of The Normal Heart — a play that takes a look at the sexual politics of New York during the AIDS crisis.
Jim, 39, thanked his long-time partner Todd Spiewak once during his Golden Globes acceptance speech…and now everyone knows why.

Whoopi Goldberg ended her three-days-old feud with the New York Times Wednesday, as the fiercely opinionated host of The View apologized to the paper after declaring them guilty of "sloppy journalism" a few days back.

Goldberg, on Monday's edition of The View, said she was upset by a Sunday article by critics Manohla Dargis and A.O. Scott about the history of African Americans and the Oscars, thinking that her supporting actress Academy Award for 1990's Ghost had been overlooked.
She said she was "dismissed and erased by the New York Times critics who should know better," and implored the paper to "get your facts straight!"

Whoopi Goldberg was hardly apologetic after the New York Times said The View host misunderstood the premise of an article she thought overlooked her Oscar win, saying even if the paper didn't forget her, it's still guilty of "sloppy journalism."

Whoopi Goldberg got the first Oscar snub of the season -- for an award she won 20 years ago!
The View personality was infuriated by a Sunday New York Times article by critics Manohla Dargis and A.O. Scott, about the history of African Americans and the Oscars. The article completely omitted Goldberg’s best supporting actress Academy Award for 1990s' Ghost, as if it never existed.
"I have to tell you, it hurt me terribly," Whoopi groused. "When you win an Academy Award, that's part of your legacy ... and to be dismissed and erased by the New York Times critics who should know better ... this is not hidden information.
