Kate Winslet is a heartbreaker!

The gorgeous Oscar winner has been playing the field since splitting with her husband Sam Mendes, and she’s apparently breaking hearts along the way.

According to her recent ex, model Louis Dowler, he was stunned when she dumped him, and still can’t get over the loss.

Sir Richard Branson continues to sing the praises of Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet, who helped saved the life of his 90-year-old mother Eve when fire engulfed his $70 million mansion on his private island in the Caribbean early Monday.

"I was on the island," Branson told CBS News. "I was woken up with people screaming. I was in the house right next door to the Great House (about 10 yards away) and looked over, saw the whole house engulfed in flames, and just ran stark naked to the house to try to get people out. I had my daughter, my mother, lots of nephews and nieces. ... Obviously, the first priority was to rescue everybody, and fortunately, everybody got rescued."

Sir Richard Branson’s multi-million dollar Caribbean estate was destroyed by a fire early Monday but his Oscar winning guest saved the billionaire’s mother’s life!

“Many thanks to Kate Winslet for helping to carry my 90 year mum out of the main house to safety wondering when a Director was going to shout CUT!” Branson profusely thanked his houseguest on his blog today.

Oscar winning actress Kate Winslet was one of 20 people who escaped a fire that engulfed Sir Richard Branson’s luxurious private home in the Caribbean early Monday.

The eccentric billionaire said the fire broke out before dawn when lightning from a tropical storm hit the home on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands.

Sir Richard was staying at a nearby property with his wife Joan and son Sam, 25,  but his 90-year-old mother Eve and his 29-year-old daughter Holly were staying at the estate, which is nicknamed the Great House.
