Nancy O’Dell has a secret passion. How she finds the time with all her hosting duties, most recently on Access Hollywood and of course she’s rumored to be taking over for the retiring Mary Hart on E.T., we don’t know.

Nancy O’Dell is leaving Access Hollywood, two years before her contract is due to expire RadarOnline.com has learned.
In a statement Nancy’s rep says, “The original member of the Access Hollywood family, co-anchor and respected broadcast journalist Nancy O’Dell, has chosen to leave the show after 13 years. O’Dell appreciates NBC’s cooperation as she begins this next chapter in her career. Even though she will be leaving for a new opportunity, this decision is based totally on Nancy’s desire to take her career to the next level and is completely amicable. She will continue on with projects as a broadcast entertainment journalist.
“Having been at Access Hollywood from day one of the show, this has been an incredibly tough decision for O’Dell. She will miss her Access Hollywood family, but looks forward to still seeing them all on the red carpet.”
Nancy, who has a daughter Ashby, 2, with her business executive husband Keith Zuberchevich, had enjoyed an impressive career in investigative reporting prior to joining the Access Hollywood team. She’s won three Associated Press Awards, two Society of Professional Journalism Awards, and an Emmy Award.
Nancy’s last appearance on Access Hollywood will be this week.

Even in bad economic times, watching TV news doesn’t have to be a depressing experience.
That’s what the folks at Asylum.com have figured out and to prove it they’ve picked the 19 hottest female newscasters in America.
There may not be any science behind the pics, but based on their photos and videos it’s hard to argue with them. And we learned interesting things, like the fact that Ashley Bosley, who works for Action News 19 in Cleveland, once stripped naked in a wet T-shirt contest in Key West. And we don’t think this is just urban legend based on the photo we saw (black bars and all).
Robin Meade of CNN makes the list, as does Megyn Kelly of Fox and Nancy O’Dell of NBC.
