Curtis's current wife pro boxer Laila Ali ( Muhammad Ali's her dad ) is being brought into the fray because she deposits $14k into Curtis' checking account, according to Leoria. Curtis currently pays $1000 per month for child support for all three children. Leoria lives in Arizona with their three children, twins Cameron and Kelton, aged 14, and daughter, Lelani 10.
Read the court papers
Leoria states in court docs, "I request that the court order respondent to pay guideline child support commensurate with Respondents imputed income based on his ability to earn and based on his current wife, Laila Ali's income." Leoria says she spends a great deal of her own money on therapy for the chidlren, sports, and clothing with no additional support from Curtis.
Leoria also asserts, "I have reviewed the financial documents that Ms. Ali provided and noted that she has given numerous other funds to respondent, in addition to the $14,000 she deposits into their account. Respondent also lavishes the children with expensive toys and electronics such as i-pods, the latest model cell phone, etc. Respondent his wife recently had a new baby."
Furthermore, Leoria says because Curtis married big bucks Ali, he is choosing to remain unemployed, "It appears evident to me from Respondents deposition testimony that Respondent is deliberately choosing not to work, ans is voluntarily remaining unemployed. He has the ability to do so because he can relay on the vast income and resources of his wife, Laila Ali."
