It's been a busy past year for Sarah Jessica Parker, not only has she jetted to Dubai with her Sex And The City co-stars to film the much anticipated sequel to the hit 2008 movie, but she also became a mom once again to twin girls born to a surrogate.

Sarah says that she "tried and tried and tried and tried and tried to get pregnant, but it just was not to be, the conventional way I would give birth as often as I could, if I could. I cherished all the milestones, the good and the bad."

So, after also pursuing the option of adoption they decided on surrogacy. She goes on to say that the world stood still for her the first time she met her beloved twin girls, "Meeting your children rather than giving birth to them, it's as if, um, it's suspended animation. The gestational experience is gone. It's as if everything else disappears for a moment, and the world goes silent and I can't explain it except to say that nothing else existed.

"I don't remember anything but the blanket on the bed that they were lying on and my husband's face and their faces and my son's. It's literally as if sound is sucked from the room. Time stands still. It's so different, and equally extraordinary. I am very poor at describing it. But it's amazing."

And forget all those rumors of on-set squabbles between the four female stars of SATC, according to Sarah they all had a blast filming, "What I'm most happy to tell you," says Parker, "is that we four women, despite I guess what a lot of people hope, have never been better. This movie, and maybe it's because we actually lived together, it was the best! We were together all day long, at night, in the restaurants, in our hotels. It was wonderful."

Sarah also sets the record straight about any off screen comparisons to her on screen character, Carrie Bradshaw. She says that a mutual love of fashion is about where the comparisons end, insisting she's a very low maintenance and down to earth girl. "We painted our patio furniture ourselves," she says. "I make my children's food myself. We put together their high chairs ourselves; we do a lot ourselves! We do our own grocery shopping, we go to the market ourselves, you know? I do my laundry."

Despite having to wear a wrist cast as a result of a recent operation, Uma Thurman put on a happy face on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film, Motherhood, at New York City's School of Visual Arts Theater Wednesday night.
“It is very fashionable, right?” she said of the cast to Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa earlier this week. “And also works as self defense.”

At least for now, Jude Law won’t have to worry about more of his dirty laundry being aired. Samantha Burke, who will give birth to his child in October, is refusing to talk about the actor- at least for now.
“At this time, Samantha has decided not to give an exclusive story,” her lawyer told RadarOnline.com.
