Lohan's motorcade consisted of a mini-van and two marked police cars.
A black SUV followed at distance, although Steve Whitmore, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s spokesman, has declined to confirm whether Lohan’s mom Dina accompanied the transport.

Shortly after the convoy arrived at 1:54am PT, three more police cars arrived at the hospital and blocked off the entrance, as Lindsay checked into its substance abuse treatment center.
At the time, the hospital had a heavily increased security presence with both uniform and plain-clothed personnel.
Inside, the 24-year-old was placed under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation Department.
Earlier, Lohan was released from the women’s correctional facility in Lynwood, California, at 1:35am PT.

She managed to leave sight unseen and was spirited out a back entrance.
"She has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center... this concludes her custody," Whitmore told waiting media, outside the jail.
While Lohan avoided the same infamous walk Paris Hilton made during her exit from the same jail in 2007, the Mean Girl star’s release was not without its own drama.
In an elaborate plot to diffuse media interest, two black Cadillac Escalades drove from Lynwood to the high-end residential facility Morningside Recovery in Orange County, where Lohan had been slated to check-in.
They were followed by paparazzi, who remained camped outside the facility early Monday.

Lohan was expected to check into Morningside until Judge Marsha Revel made a last minute change of heart over the weekend, as RadarOnline.com was first to reveal.
"There was concern that [Morningside Recovery] was not a secure enough facility," District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison told PEOPLE.
Robison added Judge Revel was concerned that drugs could be easily passed onto the actress.
Lohan served 13 days of a 90-day sentence for violating terms of her probation in a DUI case.
Her early release was due to good behavior and overcrowding in the L.A. jail system.

She is required to remain clean and sober until August 2011, when her probation term ends and will be subject to a year of random drug testing.
Violation of the terms of her probation could have her sent back to jail.
UCLA has an established celebrity past: Britney Spears had an extended stay there in 2008 after first being transported there for treatment and evaluation during a 72-hour emergency hold.
