Wow, has it been a year already? The new Miss California USA will be crowned Sunday night, and the 2009 titleholder Tami Farrell plus all the 2010 contestants have already gathered in preparation for the big night.

RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that the topic of last year's dethroned winner, Carrie Prejean, won't be avoided.
"The organizers are not going to tip toe around the Carrie Prejean situation," a source told RadarOnline.com. "It will come up during the show. She'll be the elephant in the room so they're not going to avoid it."

Prejean started the controversy rolling by speaking out against gay marriage during the Miss USA compeition, and it has been a nonstop ride ever since.
In a blockbuster exclusive, RadarOnline.com revealed that the former beauty queen had made eight solo sex tapes and taken 30 nude photos of herself.

Carrie sued the Miss California USA organization for taking her crown away, but it was quickly settled once the tapes surfaced.
The pageant is so anxious to distance itself from Carrie that they've even had the crown redesigned!

The panel of The View, on Thursday, discussed Prejean's interview with Larry King -- best described by Elisabeth Hasselbeck as a "bad date" -- in which Prejean repeatedly told the veteran talk show host he was "being inappropriate" in asking her a question related to her lawsuit settlement with the Miss California USA pageant.

Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean called a sex tape she made for an ex-boyfriend several years ago "the biggest mistake of my life."
Prejean, 22, appeared on NBC's Today Show on Tuesday morning, and told host Meredith Vieira that she shot the video of herself alone when she was 17-years-old and sent it to a boyfriend.

In an official statement released Tuesday both sides said, “Carrie Prejean, Keith Lewis and K2 Productions have dropped their claim against each other and wish each other the best in their future endeavors.”
Problems With Carrie Prejean Began Before Pageant Says Official
Back in August Carrie Prejean filed a lawsuit against Miss California USA claiming religious discrimination, pageant officials fired back with their own lawsuit demanding Prejean pay back $5,200 they claim they lent the former beauty queen for breast augmentation.

A source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com that when Prejean saw the countersuit filed by the pageant she decided she no longer to pursue her case.

Keith Lewis said in his own statement Tuesday, “We are moving forward from the past and looking towards the crowning of two winners and the new look of the upcoming Miss California USA pageant, telecast live on November 22nd.”
