Singer Monica married Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Shannon Brown for the second time on Saturday.

The couple, who secretly wed for the first time last November, were joined by NBA stars Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher and Carmelo Anthony for the lavish religious ceremony in a downtown Los Angeles cathedral, according to People magazine.

The Boy Is Mine singer, 30, donned a Stephan Roland gown and guests were asked to wear shades of blue to fit with the Mindy Weiss designed theme of the wedding.

The party afterward kicked off with cocktails before guests were treated to a three-course dinner.

Monica and Shannon, 25, met last summer when he appeared in her music video for Love All Over Me.

They became engaged in October and married in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home a month later.

With dad Lionel Richie - her rock of support - and friends including Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Kris Jenner and Samantha Ronson in attendance, Nicole was a stunningly beautiful bride as she took Joel's hand in marriage.

Music legend Quincy Jones, her dad's good friend and Nicole's godfather, arrived just before she walked down the aisle.  Other guests were brought in by shuttle van from the nearby Beverly Hills Hotel.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, an elephant named Tai was part of the celebration and hundreds of red roses supplied by florist to the stars Mark's Garden, decorated the tables.  All the wedding details were orchestrated by superstar event planner Mindy Weiss.

Tai was delivered to Nicole's dad Lionel Richie's Beverly Hills estate at 4:45 pm PST, a couple of hours in advance of the wedding's start time, and her owner told us exclusively Tai "is a surprise!"

Nicole, who has turned herself into a highly successful fashion designer, and her Good Charlotte rocker husband-to-be are the the parents of two children, Harlow, 2, and Sparrow 1, who are both expected to participate in the ceremony.

Joel Madden's twin brother Benji will be the best man, sources have told RadarOnline.com, and we've confirmed Samantha Ronson is attending.
