Only days before the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the United States is under a new terrorist threat.
In a hastily called news conference late Thursday, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg warned of “unconfirmed” intelligence that a terrorist attack was being planned to mark the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

80-year-old legendary journalist Barbara Walters sent a message to her fans on The View Monday and it was revealed the celebs and political titans have sent her well wishes, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Kicking off co-host Guy Friends Week was Barbara Walters’ longtime friend and Emmy Award-winning hair stylist Bryant Renfroe, who relayed a personal message from Barbara on her condition, after doctors replaced a faulty heart valve last week.

“She got nice messages from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and even Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes,” he told fans on the ABC morning talk show. “And she appreciates all the good wishes from everybody, and then she made it a little more personal and said that even though she’s not having any visitors she misses me because her hair looks awful!

“When you’re ready, I’m ready!” he told Barbara looking right at the camera in case she was watching.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg had another message from the news great for all her fans: “She gave us a message asking us to thank all of her friends, family and viewers for all the kind wishes, emails, cards, presents and flowers. She’s very touched and appreciative. Her surgery went well and the doctors are very pleased with the outcome. She is recovering as expected.”

Joy Behar said she was at the Friars Club when Barbra Streisand asked about her condition, while’s Whoopi’s run-in was humorous and a little more unconventional.
“I was at my gynecologist’s office and there I was waiting for him to take care of business and he suddenly popped up and said, ‘How’s Barbara?’ “You just never know who’s watching, Barbara! Seriously, everywhere I think any of us have gone since this has happened people want to know if she’s doing okay and yes she is.”
