Last week at the Cannes Film Festival, Diane Kruger was snapped at a photo call for her next movie Lily Sometimes, looking absolutely gorgeous, with hardly any makeup on.  This got us thinking.  How can we look our best without wearing any makeup?  We enlisted the help of celeb makeup artist Melissa Walsh, who offered some pointers on how to get the natural look, sans makeup!

Here is what she told us:

Having your eyelashes and eyebrows dyed and getting your brows shaped make a huge difference to your face, they both really help to define your eyes and last for weeks.

I like to use eyelash curlers before doing makeup but they also work well on their own to open up the eyes. I like the heated curlers by Talika.

If you need them eye drops are also great to clear the eyes and make you look bright and fresh - Rohto make some great ones.

8 Secret Weapons Used By Beauty Pros

If you suffer with dark circles and puffiness use a specific treatment for this. I love Instant Eye Tuck and Dark Circle Treatment by Easy Eye Solutions used in conjunction with their Illuminating Eye Cream you will see an instant difference and it's still not makeup!

Some Vaseline on your brows, lashes and cheekbones creates an instant healthy sheen and also makes your lashes look darker.

In the morning you are going out sans makeup, smooth your skin with a gentle scrub to rid yourself of dull dry skin and even out your tone.

If I'm feeling a bit zombie like I slather on a serum that gets the circulation going and makes you look healthy by putting some color in your cheeks.

The best I've found is Morning Recovery Concentrate by Orlane.

To make your lips look plump and give them a flush of color use Beautiful Lips by Janson Beckett.  It's a lip moisturizer that plumps but isn't sticky or greasy.

Steal Her Look: Jessica’s Psychedelic Beauty

Jessica Alba showed up to Tribeca Film Festival Party in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, in truly startling style.  The actress, who rocked a Spring 2010 Proenza Schouler mini, took a plunge into one of the hottest beauty trends this Spring: color! RadarOnline.com got some exclusive tips from makeup artist Melissa Walsh, who has painted the faces of everyone from Terri Seymour and Lauren Sanchez to Blondie and Sting, on how to steal to Jessica’s look, without going overboard.

PHOTOS: Jessica’s Psychedelic Look

1.  Start with a tinted moisturizer like Jouer's Luminzing Tint to even out skintone and give a glow. Conceal where necessary and then dust a sheer powder lightly over the whole face to set the base and keep oiliness at bay - I love Youngblood's Hi Definition Hydrating Mineral Perfecting Powder.

2.  Warm the cheeks with a peachy toned powder blusher on the apples and slightly under the cheekbones for a slight contour.

3.  For the eyes start with a gold shimmery eyeshadow - Honey by Smashbox is a good choice over the lids and up to the crease. Define the crease with a matte light brown eyeshadow and blend together.

4.  Line the top and bottom lashes with a black pencil and then with a gunmetal shadow - Dior's 5 Couleurs Designer Palette in Smoky Design has some great shades - go over them and blend outwards, blend more on the outer corners of the lid in a V shape and merge with the gold eyeshadow. Line the inner eyes with a blue black pencil to add contrast - Korres Eyeliner Pencil in Blue Black is great and add 3 coats of thickening black mascara to top and bottom lashes for dramatic eyes. You could also add a few singles lashes
to the outer corners for extra effect.

5.  Finish with a nude colored gloss on the lips - Prodigy Lipgloss in Surreal by Hourglass Cosmetics would be my choice.”
