Attorney: CSI Producers Sued for "Being Too Realistic"

Scott and Melinda Tamkin were just your average real estate agents trying to make an honest living in Los Angeles until they met TV writer Sarah Goldfinger, the couple’s attorney Tony Glassman tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
She was looking to buy a house and although no transaction occurred, there was “no ill will either,” says Glassman.
That is until the Tamkins, parents to three kids, discovered that their names, occupation, hobbies and even personal appearance had been borrowed by Goldfinger for a CSI script.
A synopsis of the script was picked up by CSI fan sites around the world.
The storyline had Melinda depressed and suicidal; in fact she did kill herself.
Scott was portrayed as a drunk with a failing business who is losing the family’s home to foreclosure.
“At some point prior to the actual shooting, the producers realized that Scott and Melinda Tamkin were real people, and had the name changed to Tucker but damage was already done,” says Glassman.
The Tamkins are demanding $3 million in damages each from CBS Corporation, Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Sarah Goldfinger.
