Lamar Odom’s troubled father Joe Odom is “gravely ill” RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned and that is why the hoops star is taking time off from his team for a few days.

“Lamar’s dad is gravely ill, and he wanted time off to be with him,” a source close to Khloe Karadashian’s husband said about the situation.

The reality star was snapped chatting with billionaire Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban at Sunday's game, when her hubby Lamar Odom took the court in his debut for the Mavs following his trade from the Los Angeles Lakers — and RadarOnline.com has the photos. 

Khloe wore a black leather jacket and a big smile at the exhibition, looking pretty as she readied to cheer on Lamar.

The 41-year-old Scotsman appeared strikingly thinner Tuesday as he posed backstage at the Diesel Black Gold Fashion Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

The actor -- whose weight has gone up-and-down over the years -- has reportedly slimmed down for his role in Mavericks, the true story of soul surfer Jay Moriarty.

In the film, Butler plays the mentor to Moriarty, who died at age 23 in 2001 from an apparent free-diving accident.
