EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Of Course There's A Brady Bunch Feud, Says Man Who Last Reunited Them

Brady Bunch feud? Or no Brady Bunch feud?
A planned reunion on the Today Show of the TV family did not happen this week and RadarOnline.com reported exclusively that a feud between Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb was largely responsible.
Before you could say, “Oh Marcia,” they both denied it, but Christopher Knight’s representative admitted in an email to RadarOnline.com: “Eve never does Brady press, especially if Maureen is involved. This went on for decades.”
So now RadarOnline.com has reached out to the definitive authority to settle this matter once and for all. Barry Greenberg is the man who last brought the Brady Bunch together, serving as talent producer for the 2004 TV show, “The Brady Bunch 35th Anniversary Reunion Special: Still Brady After All These Years.”

“Of course there’s a Brady feud,” Greenberg told RadarOnline.com, confirming that Marcia and Jan, er, Maureen and Eve, simply do not get along.
The root of the problem? Says Greenberg: "One of the teasers for Maureen McCormick's successful 2008 book "Here's My Story" included an alleged teenage kiss between her and Eve Plumb. Plumb denied the incident and was not amused."

Greenberg should know. He was not only the last person to reunite the Bradys, but he also managed McCormick at one time.
He also developed and taught a course for the University of Southern California about the culture of celebrity. He told RadarOnline.com: There are six different ways in which the 'kids' view their place in American popular culture. The best of the "bunch" are comfortable, even proud having been Brady's.
“Barry Williams has embraced his inner Greg Brady, and is comfortable knowing that his character is forever part of our culture. Christopher Knight left TV for a successful career in the tech field and returned several years ago to entirely new and exciting opportunities. Likewise, Mike Lookinland spent many years on the other side of the camera.

“It seems, as an onlooker, that Eve Plumb is the least comfortable having the "Brady" label.”

A planned/hoped for TV reunion of the Brady Bunch “kids” didn’t happen because of a long-standing feud between Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb, as RadarOnline.com reported earlier this week.

And now, without Alice, Mike or Carol around to arbitrate all the kids have gone off and gotten their own reps and everyone is denying the story. The only problem, of course, are the facts!

The Today Show pushed hard to bring the Bradys back together for Wednesday’s show. It didn’t happen -- and a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively that Eve Plumb has been furious with Maureen McCormick (Oh, Marcia!) for years, in part because Maureen maybe, sort of hinted at some innocent girl-girl kissing back in the day, at a time when Maureen was promoting her book.

So Marcia’s rep denies the story and so does Eve. And so does Christopher Knight’s – but take a look at what Knight’s rep said in an email to RadarOnline.com while denying the story.

The feud between Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb has been raging for years and caused the cancelation of a televised Brady reunion planned for this week, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

All of the actors who played the Brady kids were scheduled to do an interview on Wednesday on one of the network morning shows. But when Maureen and Eve found out they were going to be on the same show, things quickly fell apart, a source who knows them told RadarOnline.com.

“Everyone tells a slightly different story of what happened,” the source said. “But the bottom line is that they didn’t want to be on the same show and the appearance was canceled because of it.

“Some people blame Maureen and some people blame Eve.”
Eve has been furious at Maureen for years because she felt Maureen used her to sell her book years ago, implying that there had been a slight girl-girl relationship, when, in fact, none existed.
