Despite his claims at the Masters that he was unsure when he would next play, Tiger Woods plans to return to golf at the end of the month, according to his website. The next tournament listed for Woods on www.TigerWoods.com is the Quail Hollow Championship taking place from April 29 to May 2.

The tournament is in Charlotte, North Carolina. The golfing great finished 4th place at the Quail Hollow Championship in 2009. His website also says he will be playing in the US Open tournament in June in Pebble Beach, Calif.

According the site, Tiger’s fourth place finish at the Masters earned him $330,000 in prize money. While that doesn’t make up for the endorsement money he’s lost since the scandal broke regarding his many alleged infidelities, it isn’t bad money for a week of work.

RadarOnline.com has exclusively reported that Tiger’s return to golf has caused major strife in his relationship with his wife. Elin, who refuses to move back in with Tiger, has told him that she believes he returned to golf too quickly and wasn’t focused enough on the family.
“Divorce is something she’s talking about,” a source close to Elin told RadarOnline.com. “No one knows if she’s going to go through with it,” the source said. Elin has not worn her wedding ring since his cheating scandal broke and the two have not spent the night together in months.

Tiger Woods is making his golf comeback this week but it’s coming at the expense of his marriage, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.
The golfer’s headline-making return to the Masters has come at a steep personal cost – his wife is furious and their marriage is getting worse not better says a source who knows both of them.
“There’s a reason why Elin didn’t go to the tournament and it’s simple,” the source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “She thinks he’s breaking his promise to her by returning to golf so soon. And as every day goes by she gets a little angrier.”

Tiger Woods had a terrific start at the Masters on Thursday, ending the first round only two shots off of the lead. However, despite the impressive showing, he was still clearly haunted by the shadow of his infidelities.

Tiger Woods admitted that federal investigators have contacted his agent regarding a drug probe. During his first full-fledged news conference Monday since his cheating scandal exploded last November, Tiger faced questions about Dr. Anthony Galea, a sports medicine specialist who has treated many athletes but was arrested in connection with dispensing performance-enhancing drugs.
Facing reporters in Augusta, Georgia, site of the 2010 Masters golf tournament, Woods again apologized for the cheating scandal, but was also asked about reports he has taken performance enhancing drugs and about meeting with Dr. Galea.

Woods denied ever taking illegal drugs, like HGH, and said Dr. Galea gave him only PRP treatment. PRP puts platelet enriched plasma into the body.
"He's worked with so many athletes,” Woods said of Dr. Galea. “There's some comfort level to that when a person has worked with athletes."

Wood also said he received the plasma treatments following his knee surgery in 2008 when he blew out his ACL and he LCL was “not responding” to treatment. He also said he then tore his Achilles and kept re-tearing it and even sought treatment in a hyperbaric chamber.

But Dr. Galea, who lives in Canada, has been accused of treating patients with Human Growth Hormone and Actovegin, a drug extracted from calf’s blood. Using, selling or importing Actovegin is illegal in the United States.
