The shooter in Norway’s deadliest massacre has been bragging about his “spectacular” attack to a courtroom during his murder trial, even comparing the rampage to the U.S. atomic bombing of the Japanese city Hiroshima during World War II.

, who has confessed to killing 77 people on the Norwegian island of Utoya and in the Oslo city center last July, made his shocking claims in a written statement that he was allowed to read to the Norwegian court on Tuesday because he refused to give evidence otherwise, reported the Guardian.co.uk.

Virginia Tech Students Encouraged To Attend Class On 5th Anniversary Of Massacre

Virginia Tech students were encouraged to attend class Monday, the five-year anniversary of the school's 2007 massacre in which 23-year-old Virginia Tech student Cho Seung-Hui killed 32 people, then himself.

In the years since the deadliest mass killing in contemporary American history, classes have been canceled, with this being the first year the normal schedule will resume with hopes of healing on the mind.

The American soldier who went on a cold-blooded shooting rampage in Afghanistan that killed 16 civilians will be charged Friday with 17 counts of murder and six counts of assault and attempted murder, according to a U.S. official.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Sergeant Robert Bales is currently being held in a military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, where he remains in pre-trial isolation.

Ohio Governor Calls For Tighter Laws Against Exotic Animals After Massacre

In light of this week's massacre of up to 50 exotic animals after their owner released them and then killed himself, Ohio's governor plans to sign an executive order to push for tighter regulations to avoid it ever happening again, RadarOnline.com has learned.

"Fortunately, today, I'm able to sign an executive order that will have teeth, that is founded in the law, and gives power to people," Governor John Kasich said in a news conference on Friday.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Terry Thompson of Zanesville, Ohio, opened the cages and gates of the animals -- including bears, cheetahs, wolves, lions, camels, giraffes and a white Siberian tiger -- prior to giving himself a fatal, self-inflicted gun shot wound.

The exotic animals who were released by their owner on Tuesday evening before he killed himself have been shot in a shocking massacre and RadarOnline.com has exclusive photos of the slaughter.

Bodies of the the endangered species including tigers, bears and wolves can be seen lining the side of the road near the ranch in Zanesville, Ohio, where owner Terry Thompson set them free.

The one animal still missing after a man released dozens of wild creatures in Zanesville, Ohio, before committing suicide, is believed to be dead.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said the missing monkey is thought to have been eaten by one of the escaped big cats; the search has now been called off.
