Christina Applegate, speaking publicly for the first time since having her baby daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble three weeks ago, describes the "profound” pains of giving birth on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday, and says that parenthood’s “best thing that's ever happened” to her.
Applegate, a breast cancer survivor, said that her January 27 labor took "about 18 hours" in total.
"I had my plan," the 39-year-old Married... With Children star said. "Plans are a big joke, you know, [mine] was to have an epidural, but I didn't react to it well... I didn't like it.

Christina Applegate became a mom for the first time after giving birth to daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thursday in Los Angeles, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"She's a beautiful little girl, and they are so happy and in love with her," a family friend told People of the newborn.

Christina Applegate will once again be a blushing bride. The actress is engaged to musician Martyn LeNoble, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
Applegate, 38, and LeNoble, 41, have both been married once before and got engaged in Valentine's Day.

"There is no set date for the wedding at this time," a rep for the actress said. UsMagazine.com was the first to report the news.
The Emmy-nominated actress battled breast cancer in April 2008 and underwent a double mastectomy.

She is currently filming Hall Pass and costars with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long in this summer's Going the Distance. LeNoble is the foundin member of alternative rock group Porno for Pyros.
