Rosie O'Donnell might have less presents to buy this upcoming holiday season: The 47-year-old TV personality has confirmed rumors that her five-year marriage to partner Kelli Carpenter is on the rocks.
In an interview at her Nyack, N.Y. compound on Tuesday, O'Donnell told USA Today, "We're a family, we remain a family and we're working on the issues," when asked about the reported rift in the couple's relationship. Carpenter, 42, was not present during the interview.

Here's a trick we've never seen Jay or Dave pull off: Mariah Carey's multi-talented husband, Nick Cannon, posted a feature on his website called Double Take, in which he interviews himself.
Cannon, in the clip, presented himself in two lights: the sarcastic interviewer in hip-hop gear, and a more dressy, upbeat version of himself.

Mariah Carey is a hog when it comes to closet space, her husband, Nick Cannon told Jimmy Kimmel Thursday.
"It's crazy, cause our bathroom is like a salon," he said of the diva's considerable toiletry collection. "She has like a whole store."
Cannon, host of the TV show America's Got Talent, said he is passive when it comes to the bathroom space of his superstar wife of two years.
"I'm in with the one bottle, exfoliate, and I'm out," he said. "I'm a good husband, I'm a purse-holder -- I'm good, I'm just content."
"Sounds more like a pet!" Kimmel joked.

The bells will be ringing this weekend for American Idol season one contestant, Jim Verraros and his partner Bill Brennan.
The couple are holding a lavish wedding Sunday, in Chicago Illinois, and although the ceremony won't be legal, as Illinois does not recognize same sex marriage, they are sparing no expense on the long awaited nuptials.
Verraros and Brennan are having a vintage Hollywood theme to the wedding holding a formal, outdoor ceremony with a garden party atmosphere. Verraros says, "We wanted to do this wedding as if it were legal. The fact that the state of Illinois doesn't recognize gay weddings wasn't stopping us. Quite the opposite.
"We decided to do it to draw attention to the fact. Hopefully things will change in the near future.
"If they can recognize gay marriage in Iowa, maybe Illinois will follow soon enough!
"We just want to bring awareness to the issue."
Just like most other soon to be married couples, the twosome have discussed the issue of children , and both agree they definitely want to add to their newly created family.
"Bill and I absolutely want to have children," says Verraros. "We're definitely looking forward to raising a family. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon.
"We've even been asking a lot of our female friends if we can 'use' their uterus for nine months to carry a baby for us!"
The couple first met after Brennan contacted Verraros on his MySpace webpage back in 2005. They met for the first time for coffee and talked non-stop for seven hours. Love at first sight ensued.
"It was the first time in my life I could say to myself 'I'm in love,'" Varraros says.

After being asked about the reports by some airport paparazzi, she took to her website and blogged “when u r married 12 years / lemme know how it goes / it aint easy.”

Lisa Marie Presley, ex-wife of Michael Jackson, has spoken out on the singer's tragic death.
“I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. I am heartbroken for his children who I know were everything to him and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me," Presley said in a statement.
The daughter of fellow music legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie and Michael were married in May 1994 to a firestorm of publicity.
After almost two years wed, with speculation regarding the legitimacy and intimacy of their relationship, Presley filed for divorce in January 1996.
The split was said to be amicable. They crossed paths again in 2005, when Presley was called upon as a witness during a child molestation trial in which Jackson was embroiled.
She claimed to have witnessed acts she "couldn't do anything about," but later said she was taken out of context, and came to Jackson's defense, claiming she never saw him engaged in inappropriate behavior with children.
Presley is currently married to musician Michael Lockwood with two fraternal twins, and daughter Riley Keough from a previous marriage.
Lisa Marie's mother Priscilla Presley also expressed her sadness at Michael's passing. "I'm in shock, as I know everyone must be. What a tragic loss."

It's official: Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett are engaged.
"I've asked her to marry me, again, and she agreed," O'Neal told Barbara Walters.
O'Neal confirmed that the longtime lovers, who have been together since 1980, will tie the knot soon, as Fawcett battles an aggressive anal cancer that has her ailing, bed-stricken, and sometimes unable to speak, a condition O'Neal said will not interfere with the pending nuptials.
"Maybe she will just nod her head," he said.

BREAKING NEWS: Usher Steps Out With New Woman

He hasn’t been photographed with his wife Tameka Foster since October, but Usher isn’t being so shy about his new lady friend.
The singer/actor/fragrance designer stepped out with the mystery woman in Malibu on June 2, stopping into several stores in the Country Mart.
On June 5, the pair was spotted again on their way into an L.A.-area hotel.
Usher and Tameka, who have two children together, originally planned to marry in a lavish ceremony in the Hamptons.
Dozens of A-list show business names were on the guest list.
But Usher became the proverbial runaway groom and cancelled at the last minute.
Six days later, on August 3, 2007 he and Tameka finally became husband and wife in a quiet civil ceremony.
The pair was back in the news this past February when Tameka reportedly almost died following a plastic surgery procedure gone wrong in Brazil.
Usher flew to her side and brought her back to the U.S. but neither ever discussed the event or the state of their marriage.
There have been rumors in recent months that the marriage was over but nothing indicating Usher was moving on…..until now.
When asked about her client’s marriage, the singer’s spokeswoman Simone Smalls told RadarOnline.com, “I do not comment on my client’s personal life.”
