The man who gave us Margaritaville and the license to chill now has his own hotel, the aptly named Margaritaville Beach Hotel on the barrier island of Pensacola Beach in the Gulf of Mexico. Inspired by the musician’s lyrics, the two 162- room hotel is the true Island Escape with over 800 feet of stunning gulf-front property, with an additional 800 feet overlooking the bay.
The guest rooms, which include 24 suites, all overlook the bay or the gulf and the lifestyle is definitely laid back. Parrotheads welcome.
