Massive Margaritaville fan Professor Gordian Fulde, Director of St Vincent's Hospital Emergency Department in Sydney, was enjoying the sold-out concert with his wife when his musical idol suddenly plummeted from the stage less than ten feet in front of him.

"He had finished the show, it was all over and he was going to greet a fan, but he had the lights in his eyes and stepped off the stage into thin air," Professor Fulde told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. "It was like the cartoon character, Wile E. Coyote chasing the roadrunner. He basically was in the walking position in mid air."

After sustaining head injuries from a fall off stage, singer Jimmy Buffett has been released from an Australian hospital RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

“He’s been discharged,” Sydney’s St. Vincent Hospital spokesperson Denise Coughlan told RadarOnline.com.

“It was within the last two hours and he’s going to be fine.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 64-year-old Margaritaville singer took a gnarly spill off the stage on Wednesday during a sold-out concert in Sydney.

Singer Jimmy Buffett was hospitalized with head injuries in Sydney, Australia Wednesday after he fell off the stage during his sold-out Tuesday concert at the Hordern Pavilion, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Buffett, 64, hit his head and was bleeding, an audience member told The Daily Telegraph. He was subsequently rushed to Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital.

Dan Bateman, a concertgoer who witnessed the fall, said Buffet careened face first following a rendition of Lovely Cruise.
